“We stayed in Cottage A as a family of 6. It is a very beautiful cottage and it was set up with a beautiful Christmas tree. The host was very friendly and helpful, and had the fire in the living room set up burning already, and the hot tun already set up ready to go. It was very clean and everything is very modern and just beautiful. Unfortunately we didnt get to spend much time admiring the views because it was raining a and very windy/ cold. Without the kids we could have done more exploring...

“This quaint little cottage off of the entrance to Tollymore Forest is perfect to just get away and mend your mental health. I will definitely be there again, perhaps yearly if I can afford it! Jo is easy to contact and is most helpful with everything. Thank you Jo, you are so loved 💚”

“Minnies cottage is in the middle of very beautiful farmland, it's close to Killeavy Castle, walking distance to a nice little pub called Johnny Murphy's and a small grocery store. The hosts and the property is warm and inviting. There were 4 of us and there was lots of room, 3 couches. The owners take pride in their property, it's very well built, beautiful and clean. Highly recommend this property if you just want a couple of days in the country or are attending a wedding at the castle.”

“We travelled home from Australia to Ireland to celebrate our fathers 80th (he us originally from Ireland). We have been travelling around Ireland staying in various places. We arranged the party for Rostrevor fir 13 July and we had family and friends coming in from everywhere across the world and UK. “Very nice country House. Quiet location. Close to Tollymore Park. Big upstairs bedrooms with nice showers. Lot of space for big family. Only downside in cleaning - spiderwebs and spiders on ceilings. ”

“Cosy little cottage, has everything you need within a small area. Stairs a little steep for knee issues but manageable. Views over the bay are just glorious!”

“A great location, lovely little place to stay. Host, very quick and amazing at what they do. This little barn house is one of those places, you want to keep to yourself…. but it’s that good, I’m sure it will never be short of people wanting to stay in it. We’ll definitely be back again. ”

It was so tastefully decorated - we felt at home immediately.There was a very generous gift basket waiting for us which was really appreciated. But the icing on the cake was the homemade caramel ice-cream! Thank you for making our first stop in Northern Ireland ( after a long travel period coming from Canada) so memorable.”

“Absolutely Stunning. Cottage gorgeous. They had extra touches which was brilliant. Kitchen has everthing you need. It was just peaceful abd relaxing kids loved the hottub and firepit. Thankyou for letting us stay.”

One observation which didn't affect our stay but might be worth mentioning in the description of the property - steep rear garden with lots of steps.”

"Location affascinante ed accogliente, immersa in un giardino con prato all’inglese e alberi rilassante. Interni molto curati in stile e personale gentile ed accogliente. Camera al primo piano (unico della struttura) senza ascensore ma il personale chiede se si ha necessità di voler portare bagaglio. Letto matrimoniale molto comodo. In dotazione phone ed asse da stiro con ferro. A disposizione compreso nel prezzo 2 bottigliette di acqua, biscottini e tutto il necessario per prepararsi del the o del caffe’. Unico aspetto su cui ho qualche riserva e’ il bagno. Igiene e pulizia ottime, presenza di dispenser a muro con sapone, bagnodoccia e shampoo. L’aspetto negativo e’ il lavandino delle dimensioni di una casa delle bambole con acqua calda e fredda separate. Doccia grande molto funzionale. Assenza bidet, come ovunque da queste parti. La colazione compresa alla carta e’ la ciliegina sulla torta, buonissima con ingredienti di ottima qualita’. Vorrei tornarci. "
