  • This is where FranceVilla started: Le Bouyssonnet, wonderful villa in its own private garden of 7 hectares, with a private (heated) swimming pool, just across an 18 –holes golf club and a tennis court. With views over the rolling hills, you can find this beautiful romantic wooden chalet with lots of comfort and personal style. Large part of the garden is fenced, so totally secure for animals and children... There is airconditioning in three bedrooms ànd there is a possibility to charge your electric car!

    Interior
    Wonderful, light and airy holiday home with lots of privacy. This large, 200m2 wooden chalet is designed by an architect and built under its supervision, decorated with personal style and to a high standard. Le Bouysonnet has a very nice kitchen with basically everything you need. It has 4 bedrooms - 2 bedrooms with a double bed, 2 bedrooms with a single bed each (but they can be made up as a double bed).

    All bedrooms open up to the garden of 7 hectares with a wonderful view onto the hills (great sunsets!). The house has two new bathrooms with Italian showers, one of the bathrooms has a large double wash basin and the other bathroom is en-suite to the parents bedroom. The house is electrically heated.

    Outside
    A beautiful, partly covered terrace with a stunning view. There is a gorgeous heated private swimming pool (8x4m) in the garden.

    Surroundings
    Although in a calm environment you are only a short distance from the many sites to visit in as well the Dordogne as the Lot area. Le Bouyssonnet is only 7 km away from Souillac and the river the Dordogne. The lovely Midieval town Sarlat is at 30 km and Rocamadour only 25 km. There are several big supermarkets in Souillac.

    Activities
    Would you like to go canoeing, abseiling or riding a hot air balloon? It’s all possible within 25 km distance! In Gignac there are several walking tracks. A game of tennis is possible across the road! Canoeing and kayaking is possible at 7 km from the house. The Golf Course Souillac Country Club is across the road. The club can offer a round of Golf and has other facilities such as a good restaurant, terrace and tennis courts.

Service et maison

Mm Menez est d une grande gentillesse, efficacite, disponibilite Maison de caractere , tres bien equipee pres du golf de Souillac et au centre de de tous les lieux touristiques. Maison bien equipee, foncionnelle, grande et acceuillante avec une decoration tres personnalisee. Ideale pour les vacances en famille et avec des amis, je recommande tres chaleureusement

Au calme dans la compagne du LOT

Nous avons passé de très belles fêtes de fin d'année en famille dans ce logement. La maison est conforme à la description. Nous pouvons juste regretter l'absence d'un vrai four pour mijoter les plats d'hiver, mais c'est un détail. Merci également à Rachid pour son accueil. Nous reviendrons certainement vous voir en été pour profiter des équipements extérieurs..

Séjour agréable

Nous avons passé un séjour agréable dans cette maison, bien accueillis avec le chauffage allumé en amont et une bouteille de vin en bienvenue. La maison est spacieuse et bien agencée (partie jour/nuit). Un vaste jardin agréable pour prendre l'air.Le seul bémol est l'isolation. Nous avons fait attention à la consommation des chauffages électriques/lumières et à la fin du séjour on nous a facturé un surplus conséquent de consommation. Cependant ce n'était pas spécifié dans l'annonce donc en échangeant longuement avec la propriétaire tout est revenu en ordre. Mais sachez qu'il y a un "forfait" inclus d'électricité et si dépassement alors il faut payer en plus. Le point positif aussi est la réactivité de réponse de la propriétaire, très appréciable. Merci. PS: un vrai four serait le bienvenu :)

Tres grande et magnifique maison vraiment au top avec tous le nécessaire en électroménager ou ustensiles. L environnement est tres calme et agréable. Nous sommes vraiment satisfait de la communication avec le propriétaire. Je recommande fortement cette location.

Beautiful house, pool and location

Dear Lydia Firstly, so sorry that this has taken me so long to email regarding our stay at Bouyssonnet. It has been a busy few weeks of school here since we returned from France. I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had for our week at Bouyssonnet. The house was beautiful and we all relaxed for the week there and really didn't want to return home. We ate on the veranda for the entire week, such a beautiful setting. The weather was perfect, we couldn't have asked for more and the pool was used by us all every day and we all loved the rural setting of the house, where we had total peace and quiet. This is the first time we have taken our dog abroad and the gardens worked perfectly, as they are all enclosed, which was peace of mind for us. Rashid was very helpful and arranged for us to visit the local vet (a requirement) before we returned to the UK. We would definitely look at booking Bouyssonnet again for next year. For us, with four children and a pet, it proved to be the perfect, relaxing week from our busy lives back in The UK. Kindest regards Anne and family

un havre de paix

nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Thijs et Lydia Mennes une grande maison pour nous pour profiter pleinement de ces quelques jours de vacances en famille joliment décorée 4 chambres une grande cuisine bien équipée un salon salle à manger très spacieux et confortable une belle terrasse avec barbecue un grand jardin avec piscine le tout en plein bois une grande tranquillité le calme dans la verdure une charmante maison avec toutes les commodités un jardin bien clôturé pour nos chiens au cœur d une très jolie région avec de nombreuses visites a faire sur quelques kilomètres Sarlat , rocamadour , Gramat , Brive la gaillarde .... des grottes , des villages , des fermes avec productions local , un zoo , un golf , le musée de l automate à Souillac bref de quoi passer un agréable séjour sans oublier un super accueille je vous recommande vivement cette maison Valérie

superweek gehad

Hallo, Inderdaad reeds een week terug , het werk riep ons direct terug in de realiteit. Hebben de eerste dagen (van zaterdag tot en met dinsdag) stralend weer gehad (boven de 30gr). Hierbij kwam het zwembad natuurlijk goed van pas voor enige afkoeling. Het "ruime" huis bleef inderdaad lekker koel tijdens deze temperaturen (mits alles goed gesloten te houden natuurlijk). Alle comfort is aanwezig en de bedden liggen super. Vooral de rust s'avonds , de sterrenhemel , de krekels , spechten , zalig om zo op het terras te zitten met een glaasje (kom je helemaal tot rust) Hebben s'avonds bij het terugrijden naar het huis ook andere dieren (vossen , herten , ..) gespot. Denk ook dat we Bram hebben horen roepen , maar helaas niet gezien. De buitenkeuken heeft zijn dienst bewezen en ons lekker verwent met de regionale producten ......... Nogmaals met dank aan "Rashid" die echt voor alles klaarstaat als er iets mis is !!!!!!!! (hadden berichtje gestuurd dat gas buitenkeuken op was , stond 15min later al met nieuwe fles ter plaatse) Woensdag was echt een triestige dag (regen en koud 17gr) , donderdag was het terug beter (ideaal voor uitstappen te maken) , vrijdag viel al bij al nog mee , enkel late namiddag (winkelen in Brive) heeft het veel geregend , zaterdag was het dan weer afgelopen (inpakken en naar huis) Hebben zondag bij de forelkwekerij gaan lunchen wat echt lekker was (een aanrader !) Natuurlijk alle dagen wel een uitstap gemaakt in de buurt: het stadje Beynac de kronkelende straatjes naar boven met bezoek aan het kasteel (lekker gegeten boven bij Le Donjon) de markt in Sarlat en het stadje natuurlijk de watertuin met de lelies in Carsac Ailac de markt in Souillac met bezoek aan distillerie Louis Roque (noten en pruimen likeuren , lekker ....) natuurlijk mocht een bezoek aan" De Gouffre de Padirac "niet ontbreken (echt de moeite) Martel , waren jammer genoeg net te laat voor het treintje Rocamadour onderaan parkeren , treintje naar het stadje en dan met een wandeling tot helemaal boven Brive mocht voor de vrouwen ook niet ontbreken met de winkels. Het was dan (zoals meestal) weer veel te kort zo een weekje , dit was ons 2é bezoek aan deze streek Komen hier zeker nog eens terug , maar dan misschien wat langer.......... Bouyssonnet

Een zeer mooi huis met warm zwembad op een idyllische locatie in een hele mooie omgeving, zo beschrijven wij dit vakantiehuis , super gewoon!! We hebben zelf heerlijke forel kunnen vangen in de vis forel kwekerij Gouffre du Blogour bij Hans en Anne. Een paar uur later hebben we deze heerlijk kunnen bereiden in de goed ingerichte keuken van Thijs en Lydia. Wat ons ook vooral is bijgebleven is de rust die je hier terugvind , het panoramische uitzicht en de omgevingsgeluiden van alleen natuurlijke oorsprong. In de boekenkast hebben wij voor ieder van ons een leuk boek teruggevonden Het is ons super goed bevallen hier in Boussonnet.. Kortom om het in één woord te beschrijven Top! Fantastique

We (father, mother and 4 teenagers from Holland) very much enjoyed our stay at Le Bouyssonnett. We were impressed by all the features of the house, such as the large living and kitchen, the modern bathrooms, bedrooms but mostly the clean and neat state everything was in. Big plus is the enjoyable swimming pool and the large garden. We appreciated our privacy when home and if we wanted to have good company or an enjoyable evening the nearby Souillac Golf & Country club is just a minute walk away with its very friendly people and outstanding menu's with very reasonable pricing. We most certainly would recommend Le Bouyssonnet to our friends and family, it's a really great value for money.

Magnifique propriété privée !

Nous sommes de retour à la maison après deux semaines merveilleuses. Ce était super !!! Nous avons vu beaucoup de beaux villages et nous nous sommes détendus sur la terrasse à côté dela piscine.. L'eau était bien chaude, merci aussi pour la délicieuse truite. Je dis au revoir à votre endroit magnifique. Merci à vous deux mille fois pour un temps magnifique dans votre maison et je espère que nous avons des contacts dans les prochaines années. Cordialement, Piet

Excellent gîte de vacances

Nous avons eu de la chance lors de notre arrivée de rencontrer,par hasard, le gérant de la villa le BUYSSONNET, Mr Rashid MARZOUK, pour nous guider dans la dernière ligne droite, enfin droite..??.,vers notre lieu de vacances! Sans lui... Mais la récompense était au bout de ce chemin! Un magnifique châlet en bois en pleine nature et au calme et dans un état d'extrême propreté avec , d'une part, le très grand salon-salle à manger et , d'autre part le hall de nuit menant aux 4 chambres ainsi qu'à la salle de bains. Et au milieu, la cuisine menant à la terrasse donnant elle-même sur la piscine et le superbe jardin. Les chambres étaient pourvus d'une excellente literie, ce qui est plutôt rare dans les gîtes de vacances! Une isolation des chambres parfaite; un plancher en bois légèrement grinçant mais agréable à fouler. Un mobilier au même niveau que le reste hormis peut-être les divans, mais qui sont heureusement déjà remplacés par la propriétaire! Nous avons bénéficié d'un temps superbeavec une moyenne de 30 ° pendant 3 longues, ou plutôt courtes semaines et nous avons pû profiter de la splendide piscine et de sa belle terrasse tout autour ainsi que des magnifiques couchers de soleil depuis la terrasse même du gîte. N'oublions pas que nous étions déjà en septembre avec ses journées plus courtes! Nous tenons à souligner la grande disponibilité et l'extrême gentillesse de Mr MARZOUK qui nous a prodigué ses judicieux conseils concernant tout ce qui touchait à la région et qui s'est occupé à merveille de l'entretien du jardin ainsi que de la piscine.Un grand merci à lui. Nous n'avons pas essayé beaucoup de restaurants hormis lors de nos excursions, tellement il était agréable d'organiser un petit barbecue dans un pareil cadre en face de la piscine. Ce gîte jouit d'une excellente localisation à proximité de sites tels que le gouffre de Padirac, les grottes de Lacave, la vallée de la Dordogne avec ses beaux villages tels Carennac, Loubressac,Martel, Autoire d'un côté; le château de Montfort, La Roque Gageac et son tour en gabarre, Domme, Beynac et son magnifique château ainsi que celui de Castelnaud, les jardins de Marqueyssac d'un autre; en n'oubliant certainement pas la ville de Sarlat!!
