  • Bella casa immersa in quasi 4 ettari di terreno privato circondato da fauna selvatica con 1045 metri di lungomare. Solo un miglio dalla spiaggia di Weirs, dal porto turistico di Thurston, dal golf in miniatura, dal teatro drive-in e dagli scivoli d'acqua. 4 camere da letto 3 bagni un molo per lanciare i nostri paddle board e kayak che vengono con il noleggio da utilizzare. Un bel pozzo del fuoco per sedersi e rilassarsi seduti accanto a un fuoco caldo. La casa è completamente arredata con tutto il necessario per rilassarsi e divertirsi.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! It was the perfect private setting for our group, while also really close to Weirs Beach “downtown” area and the amphitheater in Gilford. We loved hanging out on the deck and around the huge fire pit, enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. I’d recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Laconia!

Amazing stay!

I came for Laconia bike week, and it was the perfect spot to be close to the action but also retreat when needed! Very relaxing and host was very accommodating!

Laconia 2025

Perfect location for bike week. Driveway is dirt but we rode bikes in all week. We slept 3 couples and 3 single adults. The host was very accommodating and communicated very well.

Bike Week

Awesome location for bike week. And you can park bikes in garage. Big place with plenty of room for a group. Our only issue was the driveway is a smidge tricky when it rains.

Great weekend away

The house was in the perfect location. It was near everything but also super quiet so you didn’t have to worry about disturbing neighbors. My friends and I had a great weekend there and enjoyed the lake and the pemi river.

Secluded Home

The house and location are nice and away from crowds. The house could be better organized and the trees and outside areas could use some clearing and cleaning up. Owner was quick to address and resolve any issues. Overall stay was enjoyable but had to leave early durle to family emergency.

Perfect house for large groups.

Used provided kayaks and paddle boards off house’s pier. Water too murky too swim. A lot of aged electronics. Seven remotes on TV. Never did use. Beautiful setting in woods on the water though. We had 3 families there and everyone enjoyed themselves. Wier’s beach is only a short drive for a day in the sun.

This property has great potential, but really is run down and neglected. The deck had debris all over, no cushions for the outdoor furniture and trash around the house. Weeds & overgrowth all around the deck complete with lots of mosquitoes & ticks. Dock was partially under water, and despite several attempts to contact the host as to safety never got an answer, so the kayaks and boats listed were not usable. The main issue was cleanliness in the house. All 3 bathrooms had dirty toilets and showers, kitchen needed to be cleaned, food in fridge & freezer. Long dead plants greeted us when we opened the door as well as a musty smell. Stains on furniture, couldn’t get the TV’s to work. Coffee maker in cabinet filed with used grounds & mold. Walls have not been cleaned in long time . Within 1/2 hour of arrival sent messages and pictures to host, received 2 replies from different people hours later. One said we could have a refund of the 300 cleaning fee or have them send the cleaners out to make right, which I asked for. No one ever came so we had to scrub the showers and toilets to use. Then the owner sent a message, didn’t address anything wrong, said he sent me a text. Never received and let him know, this was day 2. Never heard back. I sent a message that we would take the refund as we had to clean ourselves, no reply as of leaving on day 5. Linens were to be provided- all we got were towels in poor condition, no washcloths or kitchen towels. Very disappointing.

Secluded location

We stayed there for Laconia weekend 2024. 4 couples were very comfortable. The street up to a certain part to get to location is paved then dirt. The driveway dirt and rocks which is rough especially for motorcycle. Owner allowed easy early check in and we were able to park motorcycles in garage which was awesome. Home could use some maintenance but overall nice. The location was quiet and secluded. Only downfall with the location for us is distance not walkable to get to weirs strip which we would have preferred. Overall a great experience. I would definitely recommend to group looking for space, driving distance to fun, and seclusion.

Nice But A couple of Issues

1). Waterfront but couldn't swim or fish, overgrown with weeds, property not on main lake or bay. 2). Good privacy 3). A bit of a hike to walk to town 4). House was clean but could need some updating 5). Only one double kayak, one single, and one blow-up, would have liked a second double. 6). Table on deck needs different chairs, couldn't get in/out 7). Over priced for what it is

Perfect Labor Day Weekend

This is a very secluded house, to the point that even Google couldn't find it.... (Use Waze or Apple maps, although it's not that far from where Google will lead you.) The house was ready for us and Mike even allowed us to enter prior to the official check-in time. We took advantage of the kayaks daily, as well as the fire pit (bring/buy/collect firewood). The water in front of the house isn't swimmable, but if you row the kayak for 5 minutes, you'll go past the water lilies. We've reported a few maintenance issues to Mike and hopefully he'll address them prior to your stay. Apart from kayaks, there're stand-up boards that we didn't use, as well as beach chairs that I believe you may use (we didn't). Weirs beach is a short ride from the house. No entrance fees - just pay $2/hour for parking ($2.5/hour at the parking lot nearest to the beach).

Great getaway for a guys weekend.

House was great, plenty of space and great outdoor area. We went at the end of summer so the lilly pad were pretty dence but a short paddle offered a great area for swimming and hanging out. Short drive to Weirs Beach where we got picked up for a boat trip.
