“We Miamians were unprepared for just how hot it would be in Iseltwald in early July in a heatwave. There was no AC (which is our natural state in the 305) and it took some getting used to but we survived. We came by car and parking was good. The road leading to the hostel (which was more like a driveway) was quite narrow and we were unprepared for it. “I had a great stay as a solo traveler. I did a single room and had use of the shared kitchen, which was perfect for my needs. The room was basic but clean and quiet. I really liked the location where I could walk to town and get groceries, and catch the bus to Stoos Ridge, and the bus+train to other locations. It's also a good location for going on morning runs.”
