Hotel vicino a Lago Gregory - Nuwara Eliya

“This is a lovely venue and a beautiful town. We had two nights here. The first was in a large family room in the basement, which was a little bit musty. But it was spacious and I appreciated that. The next night we moved upstairs to two large rooms with en suite. They were much more comfortable and lovely views. The breakfast was very nice and generous. The staff were very helpful.”

“The hotel was modern, clean, room spacious and decorated very nicely. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel very central and can walk to main sights. Only issue we had was being locked in at night - glass front doors tied together with a bike chain lock! Although security were outside, I feel this was a concern if there was a fire and felt uncomfortable with this. Otherwise would recommend”

Nous ne voulions pas sortir pour le repas du soir alors ils se sont occupés de nous faire livrer une pizza. Nous avons manger dans la belle salle à diner. Il y a aussi un très grand salon ou il fait bon lire !”

“We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. ”

“Tucked away from the road this was a great find. It was clean and Ishan and the other staff were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They helped with making arrangements for the train and couldn’t do enough. Really recommend this place. ”

“A very nice property although a bit run down, need of update including furnitures, we arrived late in the evening and found it very cold room we had to turn electric fire on and left it on right through the night, the food is average, no local shops near by, so you will need tuk tuk, staff are great, friendly and very helpful. ”

“One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very good location in Nuwara Eliya. From check-in to check-out our stay was seamless.We are three friends who stayed for one night. In the morning we came down for a walk to find some food, but the staff greeted us saying they'd been waiting for us for breakfast, as it was included! And I'd forgotten something at breakfast, but when we came back from a morning walk they had it at the front desk and handed it to me. Everyone was so kind, would definitely...
