“The resort outdoors was beautiful, had a nice lake view. Rooms smelled musty, no mini frig or microwave. Had to buy a cooler and ice daily to keep drinks cold. Rooms need updated. Restaurant prices were very high cost us $100 for 4 just for breakfast buffet.”

“Clever and lovely cabin. The cabins are set just off a parking lot, but mine (The Schoolhouse) was really nice, seeming pretty new, good amenities like the big square showerhead. I liked the firm bed. I liked the Kuerig; just wanted decaf pods. Unusual place but worth it.”

“Clean, relatively safe. Room was worn down and the bathroom was tiny and shoddy looking. We stayed here overnight on a cross country trip. It was ok for a one night stay-more than that would have been disappointing.”

“The staff was helpful, and the bed was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was dirty with trash under the sink on the floor and the refrigerator had food left from the previous guest. The air conditioner worked well but was noisy.”

“When we arrived all the electrical power was off. Storms had downed power lines in the area. It could have been a disaster for us. The staff went above and beyond their normal duties to get us in our room. The power was to be on in a few hours. Went went site seeing of the area. When we came back the power was on. Thank goodness. We love the resort. I believe it opened in 1952 but it look like it opened in 2015. It was fully renovated and super clean. Food for breakfast was very good and...

“it was a very comfortable stay. I didn't make it into the pool but it looked so clean and refreshing. I'd definitely stay there again.”

“Bit rundown and could use some cosmetic up keep. (Ex: there were multiple unpainted dry wall patches). Despite being dingy, it was clean and the water pressure on the shower was good. For a cheap stay, it was fine.”
