The terrace of the house has an unobstructed sea view. The location is ideal for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our vacation here.”

Già Furnas da sola vale il viaggio: ci sono diverse terme, le calderas, il menu cozido, il lago (con altre calderas) e alcuni punti panoramici da mozzafiato. Il resto dell'isola è fantastico e forse servivano più giorni per esplorare tutti i punti più interessanti. Comunque la sera era bello tornare in questo paese tranquillo. “Très agréable temps passé côte Sud. Très calme mais aussi très à la campagne. Ça nous a vraiment convenu et c’est ce qu’on recherchait. Il faut prendre la voiture si on veut aller à la plage ou si on veut aller au restaurant. En 5 minutes on est au bord de la Caldeira de Sete Cidades. Un mini léger manque de confort dans la literie (couette synthétique chaude et oreillers pas très conforts) mais c’est mineur par rapport au sentiment global de la maison qui est vraiment très confortable, facile à...

“We came to the Azores for my daughter's wedding. My wife picked out this place from the pic's on your site. The place far surpassed the photos. Have never seen grounds that were so beautiful and the cottage was just as nice. Great owners, friendly neighbors. Easy access to the highway. If (or when) we come back, I would stay here once again.”

“Beautiful gated location on the very end of a dead end lane. Gardens are gorgeous with sculptures created by owner and many seating areas throughout the property. Bonita and Ed were very helpful with local issues such as restaurants, shopping, etc.”

Our flights were cancelled and Bonita worked with us to make some changes. They offered wonderful restaurant suggestions and spots to visit. “It’s a beautiful setting in the garden. The home is roomy and cozy, it has everything you need. It had a musty smell which is typical, I kept the windows open always which got rid of the smell. Windows have screens which is much appreciated! It is below another apartment so you do hear some footsteps and noise. This is why I didn’t give it full stars. You can sometimes hear dogs and loud cars in the distance but it’s not too bothersome.”
