Der var fred og ro.
Morgenmaden hjemmelavet, der var et stort udvalg med frisk frugt fra haven. Der bliver lavet røræg og pandekager efter ønske.
Da vi kom, blev vi budt velkommen af den sødeste værtinde, som viste os den smukke hovedbygning. Det var som at træde ind i en gammel film, med alle de smukke antikke og rustikke møbler.

“We stayed here for two nights to attend a wedding in the vicinity. This is a beautiful, traditional property that has been kept in a fantastic condition. The team of staff here offer brilliant service and nothing is too much trouble for them.”

Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail.”

“One of our favorite hotels in Portugal. Amazing staff, extremely clean, great spa, 2 pools, outdoor pool bar and everyone is super friendly. Decent breakfast although it was better a few years ago.

O staff super simpático e atencioso, mesmo com o nervosismo mal escondido.
Nota menos positiva só mesmo o tempo no check-in, demorado a meu ver (com reserva efetuada), e o numero reduzido de espreguiçadeiras na zona da piscina, o que levou a alguns clientes terem de ficar na relva (solução menos ma), nas cadeiras das mesas de bar (retirando-as dessas mesmas mesas) ou no chao duro (bastante desconfortável)....
