Perfect house and host for our 8 night stay in Lagos
This property will spoil you as against all future VRBO bookings. Steve and Victoria actually run a hospitality business (weddings and several other houses) so the cleaning and support were to a high-end boutique hotel standard and not just a VRBO. We were a group of 9. 3 families, 6 adults and 3 kids 10-13 y/o. The house has 3 bedrooms with Queen beds and en suites (perfect for 3 adult couples) plus 1.5 other hall baths for use by the other two rooms. The house can sleep 10 and the appointments and amenities are actually designed for 10! The indoor and outdoor dining tables seat 10. There are at least 10 of all dish and glass sizes and seating in the living room for 10 people. This is just an example of the attention to detail.Check in was self service and smooth. Everything VERY clearly communicated. Hosts also sent a digital guidebook to the house, the area restaurants, beaches, etc. Like I said, they are running a hospitality business and it shows. The pool is great. The outdoor dining table is covered (perfect for hot summer sun). The charcoal grill is the best I've ever used. The heating surface can be moved up and down over the coals to get a perfect cook. Several nights we went to the fish market and butcher in town and cooked at home.We needed some support on one occasion and Steve and Victoria were all over it. Steve was at the house inside of 10 minutes and everything was fully resolved.Tl:Dr The house and hospitality were phenomenal.
