“They are trying to renovate an old Victorian house, but really do not seem to have any experience with hotels or B&B's. The room we had was painted poorly with messy paint lines at the trim and paint drips on the floor. The caulking in the shower was comically bad. The shower was quite small. We waiting several minutes for the hot water in the shower and eventually took two back to back cold showers . There was no table or dresser to put our stuff on, so we had everything on the floor. “The building is 100 years old. So part of the stay is experiencing the age and history of the building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some rooms come with breakfast and some do not. Ours did not which suited us. There is a nice porch with rocking chairs where we enjoyed some refreshments in the evening. The tv in our room wss small, but we did not go to watch tv. We had a good time.”
