Messy in more ways than one
The neighborhood and community amenities are beautiful and there is plenty to do!
Unfortunately, the house was pretty unclean when we arrived. Water bottles and trash under beds, filled water guns in a dresser that leaked, the previous renters itinerary left out with personal info on it, dust and cobwebs in several areas. The house states it has air conditioning- it only has air in 2 bedroom window units. Downstairs and living areas get VERY hot in August, especially when cooking.
Bring towels- they left only one per person for 6 day stay and no wash cloths or hand towels were provided. We also had to go out and get more toilet paper. Also advise paper plates- there are enough plates and bowls for one meal at a time if you have 8-9 people like we did.
The check-in process was a NIGHTMARE. We were sent e-mail with check in info, door code, etc but somehow never got a second e-mail with a contract attached. We show up and are denied access because there is no check-in packet at security. Somehow our other guest was able to drive right into the gate and access the house. Once finally reached, Property Manager said she had been trying to get in contact with us re: missing contract. She says she has a log of call attempts- we have zero missed calls. Finally after 2 hours of sorting, filling out contract, we were let in. PM acted like she was a savior for waiving $100 late processing fee DESPITE us never having gotten email on it and ZERO CALLS. Big disappointment.
