Motel idéalement situé entre la death valley et sequoia park. Pour une nuit, pas plus ! Propreté plus que limite (mouche morte à la tête de lit). Pas de service (pas de wifi, pas de serviette dans la salle de bain) cafetière défectueuse et micro onde marche moyennement. Très très bruyant (très proche de la route) bouchon d’oreille plus que conseillé ! Literie convenable. Beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité.

A reasonably priced CLEAN room with a retro vibe. Cable tv you can actually figure out and a picnic bench out front of each room for smokers. The property is old but reasonably well maintained. I’d happily stay again.

A dated motel that shows they try to maintain it. Would be nice if the cleanliness was better but wasnt bad considering. A quaint motel in the middle of nowhere. I would have given a better rating if the room next to me didnt have cars pulling up every 20 minutes and going in the room all night long. The motel is close to some shopping and eating and local hospital dollar general is a couple doors down a few eating places and market also a gas station. I would go back and try again when im back up there visitng family.

Budget Friendly Lake Views
The room is just ok. Carpet very worn and chair very worn out. TV a 32” flatscreen with cable. Bed was decent. Coffee pods in room, but set up was away from any plugs, and I had to put on floor to brew. Fridge and microwave clean and usable. The heater worked well, too and kept us warm and comfortable in the 28F low overnight temperature. Bathroom a bit chilly. The photos are the view of the lake across the highway, at sunrise. Definitely the view, which is not visible from the rooms, (you must go outside) is the best feature of this motel.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the property. I’ve been happy enough with my first two stays but this time the amenities in the room were lacking. There were blood stains on the sheets, and it was not as clean as it has been in the past. All things considered it was way over priced for what I got. I will probably look for another property next time I visit the area.

Das Beste an der Unterkunft ist die Lage am Lake Isabella. Die Unterkunft ist echt nur mit Abstrixjen zu empfehlen. Aber: Wirklich unbedingt zu empfehlen ist das Frühstück im benachbarten Red Rooster! Das beste US-Frühstück überhaupt! Klassischer und uriger und typischer geht es wohl nicht. Tipp! Und ein Besuch im kleinen Western-Dörfchen „Silver City Ghost Town“ ist ein Highlight unseres USA-Roadtrips gewesen. Kaum Touristen. Einfach ein toller Programmpunkt.

If you were looking for modern accommodations you probably should not have booked a room at a motel that is very upfront about being an old-school style 1950's motel. We pride ourselves on being "outdated" :) You didn't share what you found unpleasant about the bathroom so I'm not sure what to say about that or what, if anything, can be done to improve. Oh well. You can't please everyone. We do try to though so if you feel like sharing more details about what you found not up to snuff we would be happy for the feedback. Guests feeling well-rested and refreshed with a heart filled with warm fuzzies is our goal :) Thank you for your review and thank you for choosing the Lakeview Motel. Happy showering!
