Our host, Denise, went over all of the ins and outs, made sure we had plenty of wood, even delivered to the door. The location is minutes off of I-40. “Charming mountain house with a wrap around deck and screened porch. Hot tub was great and kitchen details - like pot holders and corkscrew/bottle opener - appreciated very much. Enjoyable just sitting on the deck and enjoying the nature and peace. Would recommend a 4 wheel drive to get up and down Plott Balsam Road (though we did manage with a 2wd sedan). Very close to Soco Falls and Blue Ridge Parkway. A lovely secluded getaway that you won't want to leave. ”

The only negative thing I can say is it a bottom floor so you can occasionally hear the upstairs guest moving around.
