Proprietari di Liz e Kyle Fister- 985-209-2007: Splendida, appartata, appartata fuga in baita a 3 piani situata nelle montagne Blue Ridge nel lago Lure NC. Spettacolare vista sulle montagne Mirror Lake e Chimney Rock completate dal suono del fiume Broad che scorre veloce. Cabina con vista sul lago Mirror e sulla spiaggia con vista mozzafiato sul lago e sulle montagne dal soggiorno, camera da letto al piano superiore, ponti superiore e inferiore. Camino a legna in pietra. Soggiorno cucina aperta con porte scorrevoli in vetro per il ponte al piano superiore con vista sul lago Mirror e sulla spiaggia .. Il livello inferiore ha un altro ponte con posti a sedere / tavolo e altalena intagliata a mano con vista sul lago / montagna e vista sul fiume. Divertiti a dondolarti sull'altalena di tronchi ascoltando la corsa del fiume! Cani ben educati benvenuti! Portali al fiume!
Una scalinata conduce al lago, alla spiaggia, al fiume Broad e alla cascata con padiglione. Quattro ampie e confortevoli camere da letto offrono la possibilità di dormire fino a 10 persone. La camera da letto al piano inferiore è aperta all'area della sala giochi. Due ponti privati offrono posti a sedere e splendide viste sulle montagne e sul lago, il livello inferiore offre viste sul fiume oltre al lago.
La cabina si trova nell'area privata di "Riverbend", una comunità montana recintata con oltre 3.500 acri di bellezza incontaminata di montagna con due laghi privati, cascata e una vecchia vasca da bagno vecchio stile e grandi aree escursionistiche circondate da viste sulle montagne e abbondante vita selvaggia .
Riverbend offre una spiaggia privata, un lago, un molo per la pesca e un padiglione con vista sul lago con sedie a dondolo, pozzi per barbecue e splendide viste sulle montagne. Tutto questo può essere visto dalla cabina. Attraversa la strada dalla spiaggia al Riverwalk sul Broad River, con piccole rapide, area picnic e cascata! Oppure cammina fino alla vasca, goditi i tubi sul fiume, pesca al largo del molo e nuota nel lago!
Lake Lure nella Carolina del Nord occidentale ha molto da fare! La spiaggia del lago Lure offre al lago una bellissima spiaggia circondata dalle montagne con un'area giochi per bambini e bagnini di guardia. We loved the location. House feels private at night but you have neighbors that aren't too close. So there's safety but privacy. The house was beautiful! Plenty of room, great kitchen to cook in. Easy access to the 'beach front' at the lake and a short trail running beside Broad River. We enjoyed our stay!

Starting off the trip we lost cell service at the entry gate and didn’t get to put the actual cabin address in. The road to the cabin was a one car gravel road and not made for small cars. Once we finally found the cabin getting into the house was easy. Upon first glance the cabin looked okay. However, cobwebs all over the place, there was pee in the downstairs bathroom, the shower drain downstairs was disgusting. The cleanliness of this place is terrible. The pool table has broken sticks the balls are dead and the pockets are broken (terrible). I really wanted to love this place because it does have a decent view but was tempted to go stay in a hotel!

Quaint cabin with a wonderful view and had the charm of a true log home - decor was thoughtful and we enjoyed the indoor fireplace. It was nice to have enough of some items like trash bags, dish soap, etc., to get us started. The first 24 hours there were a little rough and frustrating: - Took 8-10 calls, to the owners, to be able to get into the gate upon arrival...literally had us panicking a little bit about where we were going to spend the night. - Didnt have wifi for the first 14 hours. Owner did respond the next day to contact the provider. - Both bathroom shower curtains were full of black mold and orange lanolin. Believe the cause (in basement) is due to the shower not draining - ankle deep in grey water. Not Owner did drop off new ones on a picnic table in the back yard for us to put up / replace ourselves. - The hot tub not working properly - owner contacted company the next day to obtain fix. - Decorative pillows on couch were covered in pet hair. We read that animals were not allowed on the furniture - Kitchen supplies left a good bit to be desired: Can openers that dont work - leaving us with some uneaten food, no serving spoons so we used an ice cream scoop and teaspoons for serving meals, only 2 towels and one dish cloth available to use in kitchen for 5 days so we did some unexpected laundry, and most of the dishes we used had to be washed to remove food from before using. Once these things were resolved we did enjoy our additional 3 days stay.

Location was just perfect! Was the perfect size for our family and everyone just really enjoyed having their own space as well as the community areas. We will definitely be staying again.

We get together annually so we have stayed in many many VRBO locations over the years. This was not as great as most we've been to. The coffee maker died the day we arrived, and the owner brought one by the next morning. That attention was well appreciated. The cabin is very pretty and has room for 4 adults, although it is not as roomy as the photos seem to indicate. The location was good, however, my fault for not reading and noticing that this is not in fact ON Lake Lure but rather on a small lake in a neighborhood. The ceiling fan in the loft sleeping area made such a horrific clunk but I switched some of the screws that were still there around and used it that way. I did notify them after we left, and they thanked me so assume that has been fixed. I would say the kitchen isn't well stocked but we travel with a seasoned cook so we may be harsh for that reason. All in all, this house is fine and serves the purpose if you want to be in the area. The drive the Asheville is delightful and you can avoid most of the highway.

We had a great time! Beautiful view and enjoyed the lake and waterfall just down the way. My legs may be sore from all the steep steps but we loved it. Lol There are so many other things to see and do around the area we felt like we really made the most out of our vacation. Our only criticism would be no exhaust fans in bathrooms, you can hear everything on main level (which really didn’t bother us too much) and lots of spider webs out on the deck and on windows. Not a deal breaker for us though. No need to worry about hot water. There is plenty and while we would come in and take shower after shower we never ran out and was still very hot. Thumbs up on that! Plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. Just a friendly note, (there are 2 can openers that didn’t work so we had to buy one.) I should have just left it there. Beds and pillows were comfy. We would definitely stay here again! And P.S. I’m a travel agent! You know I really wanted to stay here not to get a discount or commission since it’s VRBO. It didn’t disappoint.

Perfect cabin for a family vacation. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. The lake, swimming hole and waterfall were beautiful and the entire family loved spending our days there. Liz was a wonderful host and was very responsive. Definitely recommend.

Very relaxing location. Beautiful lake with great location without the crowds. Cabin was very clean. I would have loved to have 2 canoes. We did not use the one that was there because we wanted to canoe in pairs and not alone. I would stay there again. We were very close to the lake with sand beach area and nature trail.

The location was perfect! Across from the pavilion and atop a hill with perfect views of the lake. Peace and quiet reign ed suoreme. The house was perfect to suit our needs and the deck overlooking the lake was our constant hangout!! Kitchen was well equipped and the pool table was used a lot. The stone surrounds in the showers was striking. But the roads were were excellent...narrow in places but well taken care of. All in all...a memorable vacation in a lovely peaceful setting.

We rented this cabin out for my mother-in-law’s birthday weekend. She wanted to relax and stay in somewhere that had a great view and great scenery nearby and this place nailed it! The cabin was super cozy and clean upon arrival and when we had questions about anything Liz was quick to respond and help with any issues. Overall 5 star stay!

I tried several times to get early check in. Had people coming from different states. Never received an answer. The house needs some updating. The house is advertised as four bedroom. It is a two bedroom, so it lacked privacy we were looking for. Had an ant problem. The view from the mountains and lake was beautiful.

We really loved staying at this mountain cabin. The views were amazing and the waterfall and river right in the backyard was wonderful. Not too far from chimney rock and local restaurants. Would highly recommend.

Cozy cabin in a secure, gated community that was perfect for a family weekend! The cabin is tri-level so there is plenty of space for everyone. The basement game room is a nice addition that has a sitting area outside with a big swing. The upstairs porch overlooks the lake and the mountains and is a perfect spot for morning coffee. It’s a short, but steep, walk to the lake which is worth it if you have kids that need to burn off some energy. There is plenty of room to run, a small beach and ducks and fish to feed! This is a great rental and the owner was super easy to work with. We will definitely stay here again!

Great for a sister's trip, will go back for a family trip...lots of things around that all ages would like to do while visiting. The cabin was great and the view is beautiful. Liz communicates quickly if you need anything.
