Welcome to Deer Crossing! 3BR/2.5BA newly remodeled home within the Rumbling Bald Resort, close to resort amenities - this includes private beach access, mini golf, clubhouse, gym, tennis & basketball courts, indoor/outdoor pools, golf course, driving range. Several restaurants close by including one overlooking the lake. You can enjoy Lake Lure or visit neighboring Chimney Rock, featuring Chimney Rock State Park. Take a day trip to Asheville.

Perfect for couples and/or families.

Main level has fully stocked kitchen including Keurig coffeemaker, pots/pans, dishes, silverware, toaster, blender, salt/pepper. Formal dining room with table/seats. Family room with smart tv (Roku). 2 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom and 1 vanity bathroom with unit washer & dryer.

MASTER BEDROOM: King Bed, dresser, 2 night stands, Roku tv, desk. Access to porch deck
BEDROOM 2: 1 Queen Bed, 1 Twin Bed, dresser, nightstand, Roku tv.
PORCH DECK: Table/seating and hot tub.

Lower level has 1 bedroom, 1 full bath and 1 game room with futon.
BEDROOM 3: 1 Queen Bed, 1 Twin Bed, dresser, nightstand, desk, Roku tv, private full bathroom. This bedroom does not have a door.
GAME ROOM: Futon, desk, Roku tv, lamps.

** Additional Full size Air Mattress also available.

Max occupancy is 10 guests. Bed space comfortably fits 9 guests but there is an air mattress if needed for an additional guest.
If you bring more people than reflected on your reservation, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

ACCESS: The deck back door is equipped with smartlock. Guests are required to sign the renter agreement to receive the door code. You will get a personalized door code 2 days before check-in. Guests may access all areas of the home. The garage will be locked for owner use.

PRIVATE PARKING: Parking is on the driveway only. Note that street parking is not allowed.

Please note that lake access on Lake Lure, including swimming and boating, is unavailable this season due to ongoing clean-up efforts by the Town of Lake Lure. For the latest updates, visit townoflakelure.com (https://www.townoflakelure.com/).

PLEASE NOTE
**There is ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND IN THE HOUSE. If evidence of smoking is found, a $500 fine will be assessed + additional cleaning fees will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.

**Dogs are allowed with $100 fee per stay. Must be disclosed at the time of the booking. Violators of this rule will be fined $300 and additional cleaning fees will be charged. Thank you for your understanding.

**Guests must not be disruptive to neighbors. No parties or events. If any complaints are received or if there is any tampering/covering of the security cameras, you will be asked to vacate immediately WITHOUT REFUND.

2024 Vacation

The inside is great, plenty of space and seating areas. Love the extra touches. The appliances are top notch. Outside needs some TLC. Dried up leaves all over the deck and seat cushions - need replaced. Small area of grass (we picked for our dog) was about 2 feet high. Owner tried to get it cut but was unable. Hot tub was fantastic.

Family Christmas Getsway

House was very comfortable. Plenty of room for 7 adults and dining room table large enough for our dinner gatherings. Enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Location was great with the resort facilities. Lots to do in the area.

Great Stay! We will be back!

The property was as advertised. We had a small problem with the cleaning when we first arrived but Michele was very fast to respond and the communication was excellent. The location was great and we enjoyed all the amenities rumbling bald had to offer. They had an Octoberfest party on Saturday night and the kids had a ball! This is a great property for any families looking for a vacation or just a nice long weekend away.

Weekend Away

The house was just as described. Decor was nice and the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Property was clean & easy to find. Close to restaurant at resort and the beach. Owners were quick to respond and answered all questions promptly. The surrounding areas was beautiful as well & there was plenty of parking space. My only complaint (kinda) would be the hot tub. We only used it once due to the amount of foam that layered the top of the water. We did ask the owners about this, they assured us it was cleaned 2 days prior to our arrival, but we just felt better not using it. It was hot and jets worked well. Just our personal preference. Our stay was great & we would definitely stay at this charming place again.

Lovely stay!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the property. The house had everything we needed for a small group. The Rumbling Bald resort had plenty of activity for us; our group included two kiddos aged 5 and 7 so the pool and lake access were great.

Deer Crossing

Our large family found this vacation home to have everything we needed to make beautiful memories on our vacation week. The location allowed for privacy yet allowed us to be close to the lake, pools, golf and fitness center. We would Definitely choose this location again.

Fun family vacation spot

Enjoyed our stay, home was extremely clean and property manager was very responsive. Our only comment is we had to manage our showers due to lack of hot water with a family of seven.
