  • Welcome to Anahata House—your peaceful retreat in the heart of Lake Lure.

    Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or an adventure-filled weekend with friends, Anahata House is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect.

    Conveniently located a couple of  minutes from  Lake Lure Beach and Chimney Rock Village, you’ll be close to local favorites, including the candy shop, escape room, restaurants, shopping, hiking, and all the natural beauty the area has to offer.

    Inside, you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms designed for restful nights, plus a queen sleeper sofa in the cozy living room, where you can curl up beside the warm glow of the gas fireplace after a day of exploring.

    Our home has a split-level layout, with a 3rd bedroom and full bathroom located downstairs through a separate entrance—ideal for grandparents, another couple, or teens looking for a little extra privacy.

    One of the best parts of staying here is slowing down. Slip into the private hot tub beneath the trees, sip your morning coffee on the spacious deck as the forest wakes up around you, or spend the evening under the stars roasting marshmallows and apples around the fire pit. It’s the perfect setting for meaningful conversations, quiet mornings, and cozy nights.

    Traveling with little ones or your four-legged family member? We’ve got you covered. We welcome children and dogs (with prior approval and a pet fee) and provide a small fenced side yard along with baby gates to make traveling a little easier.

    Whether you’re here to hike, explore, shop, or simply relax, Anahata House offers the perfect balance of comfort, nature, and convenience.

The spider webs on the stairs and deck should really be cleaned away before each rental.And maybe a newer couch. But all in all the house was very clean. And our stay was enjoyable. Hot tub was ready and after the long drive that was nice and the host acomnated my service dog and another pet. Thank you for that.

The cabin was clean and cozy. Loved the hot tub and fireplace. Kitchen was well stocked. The property is close to restaurants and hiking trails.

The host was very responsive and very helpful. One thing that I will suggest is that the towels need dried longer because they did have a smell other than that the cabin was beautiful. We also did inconvenience the host by bringing 7 dogs (with permission) and she was really nice to let us bring them all! Thank you again for allowing us and our several fur babies stay at your beautiful cabin.

We loved the location of this property, private feeling and with trees all around. The smells and sounds of summer and nature were very relaxing. We loved the outdoor space and the windows which afforded a lovely view no matter where you looked. It was a like a tree house get away. There are stairs to get to the front door and stairs to get down to the 2nd bathroom and beds on the “basement” level. The downstairs can only be accessed from the outside and is completely separate from the main space. It was so conveniently located to the lake for boat rentals and a market just down the road. 5 minute drive to Chimney Rock’s little Main Street. An hour to Asheville for a day trip. We would stay here again but there were a lot of spiders and webs (you are in nature, in a forested location) so you must sweep them away every time you go out on the deck especially if you have little ones or pets visiting. While we were there the hot tub was broken and the upstairs shower was not working but our host was so kind to refund us for the inconvenience and was very easy to communicate with. It’s a quaint, quirky older property but it has a very relaxing and comfortable air about it. The beds were comfortable and it was a safe, quiet place to stay.

Great location and had an amazing relaxing time. Plenty of things to do without leaving the home. Everything was exactly as described. The host was very responsive and made sure everything was good during our stay. 10/10 highly recommend.

Just book it!!

Don't think twice about booking this gem. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and the hot tub is an added plus. You feel like you are deep in the mountains, but are so close to local dining and attractions. Ashley was such a wonderful host and was very responsive. We loved it so much, we ended up extending our stay and extra night! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property with us! We will be back soon!

Six friends reunited for just one night to catch up. This lovely cabin nestled in the woods was perfect. Our biggest concern was parking and that was not a problem here. The cabinet itself was lovely and well maintained we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
