Maestosità di montagna

Winding River House è una bellissima casa di tronchi lungo il fiume, circondata da una foresta pittoresca con un lago privato a pochi passi di distanza. Ha portici soleggiati con vista sul fiume nella comunità privata e recintata di Riverbend sul Lago Lure.

Trascorri la giornata facendo il tubo lungo il fiume, nuotando nel lago o rilassandoti sotto il portico! Godetevi l'atmosfera familiare ai piedi delle Blue Ridge Mountains.

La posizione offre un facile accesso a ristoranti nelle vicinanze, linee zip, escursioni, pesca, canottaggio, nuoto. Si trova a breve distanza dalla spiaggia di Lake Lure e dal Chimney Rock State Park; negozi caratteristici a Chimney Rock e Hendersonville; e musica e teatro a Brevard e Flat Rock.

Questo family-friendly (mi dispiace, non a quattro zampe membri della famiglia), a casa lontano da casa ha 4 camere da letto, sala a castello, e una sala giochi tutto pronto per il ping pong e guardare il film. È ben attrezzato con tutti i comfort di casa, oltre ad alcuni!

Il livello principale ha una grande sala grande con un muro di finestre, camino gas-log, cucina gourmet (con ripiani in granito e elettrodomestici aggiornati), bagno di servizio con lavatrice e asciugatrice di grandi dimensioni, e camera da letto principale con letto matrimoniale, ampia cabina- nell'armadio e spazioso bagno privato. Il livello superiore ha due camere da letto con letti queen size, bel bagno completo nella hall e ampio soppalco che separa le due camere da letto. Il livello inferiore ha un'accogliente camera familiare con zona a castello, un grande bagno completo e una camera da letto privata con letto queen size. Un sacco di spazio per tutti!

Un fiume scorre attraverso di esso

Winding River House ha opzioni infinite! Andate a fare il tubing nel fiume, saltate dentro per una nuotata, o prendete un palo e pescate - tutto direttamente dal cortile o dall'area comune della comunità.

Riverbend at Lake Lure Servizi

Inoltre, è possibile godere di tutti i servizi che Riverbend ha da offrire: nuotare in Mirror Lake o Kayak (Kayak fornito), costruire castelli di sabbia su Mirror Lake Beach (c'è un'area giochi per bambini); consumare un pasto presso il sito di pic-nic coperto completo di tavoli da picnic, sedie a dondolo, camini in pietra per pranzo barbecue, servizi igienici e viste spettacolari; fare escursioni, andare in bicicletta o fare jogging su uno dei tanti sentieri; o semplicemente sedersi e rilassarsi dalla cascata e dal fiume. La pesca è eccellente e c'è un negozio di esche proprio dall'altra parte della strada vicino all'ingresso principale.

Winding River House �� perfetta per ogni stagione! Godetevi il bel tempo nevoso in inverno, dove un accogliente cottage sente giusto. Visita in estate quando il tempo è perfetto in ogni momento e puoi goderti le brezze estive rilassanti e gli splendidi tramonti da ogni finestra per non parlare del fantastico divertimento sul fiume.

Non importa la stagione, questa casa di montagna, la nostra bellissima zona e il Lago Lure hanno così tanto da offrire, sia che si tratti di una vasta scelta di ristoranti o negozi, o di una divertente avventura all'aria aperta che tu ei tuoi cari non dimenticherete mai!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Winding River House. We did have several issues that can easily be addressed. The shower liner in the upstairs bathroom was very moldy to the extent that we took it down and bought another one. The lighting in the upstairs bedrooms was extremely dim. Larger lamps would help with that. More coffee mugs are really needed for a large group, which we had. And the fire pit area was in terrible shape. Chairs were turned over and trash was all around the area. The size of this house is great and beds were very comfortable. We would stay again, but would hope these concerns would be acted upon.

This house was so great for a mixed age group. We could walk to the swimming hole, stream and small beach. Just perfect!

Everything was better than the description. The kids loved as well as the adults. The river and waterfalls were a bonus. The house was very clean, beds were so comfortable. The only thing we found unsatisfactory was the lack of a large skillet. The kitchen was well stocked with everything else. We did have an issue with the door code, which was fixed by one quick phone call. Over all great house. Side note if you have physical limitations be aware this house has lots of steps. The drive way is pretty steep and just enough space for 2 cars.

The cleanest place we’ve ever seen. Kids had tremendous fun floating down the crystal clear stream on tubes at the cabin. Very safe. Beautiful lake, kayak and waterfall. Only mistake is we didn’t stay long enough!

We enjoyed our stay. We had a few smaller issues but our biggest problem was with check in. We had to wait about 30 minutes outside having to use the bathroom because the door lock did not work. The other bigger issue was with the outside lights. We tried every switch but the lights would not come on. Our last night there one of us fell down the steps because we could not see. It was a really nice getaway and for us the lack of WiFi and TV was huge for us and the kids.

Great house. Well equipped kitchen. Good supply of linens. More info about local community would be helpful along with simple map of immediate area. It would be great if it had wifi so you could get Netflix.

My family spent a week in July in Winding River House. This is a nice property that is missing a few thing that are needed to be worth the price paid. It has a game room listed and there is only a folded up ping pong table available. For the price there should be a pool table, air hockey... something else to qualify as a game room. Also missing is wifi. While it is great to unplug it's hard to go the week with no wifi for entertainment purposes if no other. There is only 1 TV in the house and it is in the "so called" game room and is basically there for videos only. The biggest problem we had was such low water pressure that you could hardly get wet in the shower. We called and someone was sent out and did work that helped, but we still had to use a pitcher to fill the toilet in the Master so that it would flush. We also never got anything resembling good pressure in the kitchen sink. Very nice property ... just not worth the money without a few adjustments.

The Winding River House is a beautiful & nicely decorated log cabin with all the indoor amenities you would want aside from TV & Internet! This home was very clean, plenty of linens, nicely furnished, kids play area/ loft was a plus! Kitchen has many appliances & state of the art! The surrounding homes Are in construction which made for less privacy & many times parking issues. The backyard stairs down to the river led to dry river beds but across the entrance drive onto the home's street was a small lake area the kids fish & swim at. The only negative on this home really was a plumbing issue that led us to leave the property early as there was no water or toilet use. It was told to be an initial build "issue" with the home that they were working to rectify once we left. The lack of tv & Internet was in the end a plus to escape our technological world. The home is close proximity to most activities around the lake. We would definitely consider this home in the future pending the nearby construction completion. BEAUTIFUL CABIN WITH GREAT AMENTITIES FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. Clean & Up to Date!!

Great property with plenty of room for kids and family! Well-stocked kitchen and plenty of games and room for the kids. Had a blast fishing and tubing in the river and enjoyed the swimming hole at the bottom of the hill and waterfall walk. Only recommendation would be to add a picnic table or chairs by the river and to clean up path to river, as it was overgrown. (We assumed since it is a brand new house, owners just haven't gotten to that yet.) A grill would also be a welcome addition, as would satellite and wifi for football season! ;) Overall a great property! We look forward to a return trip!
