TRANQUIL RITIRO - Tre camere da letto situate su un mini 'On Golden Pond'. Solo altre tre case sullo stagno di 10 acri di proprietà privata. Pedalò o kayak - tutti disponibili in loco per navigare in acque cristalline. Situato sul lato arginato dello stagno, sarai cullato dal suono dell'acqua che scorre sulla diga nel torrente sottostante. Inoltre, solo un 1/4 miglia a Lake Luzerne spiaggia pubblica. Il gazebo, il grill a gas, il patio, il dock, il tavolo da picnic, l'amaca, il caminetto all'aperto e le sedie Adirondack lo rendono l'ambiente ideale per rilassarsi o per intrattenere.

E dentro, (se mai vai dentro): La casa è completamente arredata, con un soggiorno, camera da letto, ampio bagno completo con lavatrice e asciugatrice, cucina e sala da pranzo al primo piano. La cucina ha un frigorifero di dimensioni complete, cucina elettrica / forno, caffettiera, forno a microonde e tostapane. C'è una grande finestra in cucina con una splendida vista sul laghetto per ispirarti mentre cucini. Il grande tavolo da pranzo può ospitare fino a 8 persone. Le altre due camere da letto sono al secondo piano; entrambi hanno finestre che si affacciano sull'acqua. Tutte le camere possono ospitare fino a due persone. SARATOGA SPRINGS: Circa 20 minuti nella pittoresca cittadina di Saratoga Springs, per lo shopping, Saratoga Performing Arts Center (molti concerti estivi, orchestra e balletto), pista piatta Saratoga, Saratoga Polo Club, Saratoga Harness Track e il nuovo Saratoga Gaming Casino . Abbastanza vicino, ma lontano dalle celebrazioni di Capodanno.

LAGO DI LUZERNE: Circa 1/4 miglia a piedi dal lago Luzerne e dalla spiaggia pubblica. Concerti all'aperto estivi nel padiglione che si affaccia sul Lago Luzerne. Su oltre la collina a scuola pubblica Hadley / Luzerne con accesso al parco giochi. A pochi passi dalla città del Lago di Luzerne con biblioteca pubblica, mercato, campi da basket e da tennis della città, ristorante UpRiver e gite di escursione in rafting. Campo da golf a 9 buche - Bend of the River a Hadley (a meno di cinque miglia di distanza). A circa tre miglia dai sentieri per motoslitte della contea di Warren; meno di 30 minuti dalla montagna occidentale per lo sci. Ice Skate proprio fuori dalla nostra porta (quando il ghiaccio dello stagno lo consente), o sul vicino Lago Luzerne.

Such a beautiful property. This was our second time staying at this property. We love the area and the house is such a central location to Lake George and other areas. Our favorite thing about the home is the kayaks, I was up at 6 AM every day all by myself kayaking around the pond. We used the fire pit every day, just up the road there was someone selling firewood for 15 for a wheelbarrow full, it was enough to last us for four nights. Within walking distance of the home, there’s a beautiful park with some small waterfalls and two little one room with museums. There’s a mini golf and an ice cream stand also within minutes.

The pictures on the website were somewhat misleading and didn’t accurately reflect the overall cleanliness of the house. Upon arrival, there was a noticeable musty smell, and the property appeared as though it hadn’t been cleaned or occupied for quite sometime.

The property was peaceful to stay at. House was described as noted in the descriptions and pictures. Not as clean as we would have expected (but it is also an older home that could use painting and some touch ups). A musty smell as noted in one of the other reviews. It didn’t bother me but my elderly father has breathing problems and it did affect him. The location was perfect as it was close to the beach, market, Lake George and tubing adventures!!! We were asked to strip the beds and take out the garbage which was not in the description when I booked. It was fine as it only took a few minutes just not something I expected as I thought that was part of renting. Overall a good stay.

My Family had a great stay at the Pondhouse. Diane was a fantastic host. Highly recommend. The house is adorable, clean and had all the amenities that we could need for a stay away from home. Lake Luzerne is an adorable town with fun historical sites and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Great spot for peace and quiet. The Pondhouse was so quiet. Fun to take the kayaks out in the early morning and watch the Herons catch their breakfast. Just what we needed. Many thanks for lovely memories.

lovely cottage

the cottage was perfect for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children). we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. we enjoyed the paddle boat and kayak, and appreciated the size range of life vests. We enjoyed the area including lake lurzne and george.

Quiet and peaceful

Very quiet and peaceful area, close to the market and it is a great area to walk with a dog. We felt safe and secluded. The water in the pond was so clear all the way to the bottom and the use of the paddle boat was a lovely perk. We typically rough camp locally during the summers visiting with family, but with a new baby we wanted some more modern conveniences like running water and electricity - the pond house was a fabulous alternative to our usual accommodations and we will likely make this a more regular part of our summer’s in Hadley/luzerne. The kitchen, bathrooms, and linens were all very clean. The ceilings throughout were a little cobwebby. Bedrooms were large and had enough room for a pack and play/bassinet Overall the home made for a wonderful weekend with family for our little 5mo old’s first vacation. We will definitely be planning a return trip to the pond house

The place was spacious but not sure if the place hadn't been rented out in a while. Bad musty smell. The place could have been aired out in advance. Windows were dirty. Very dusty under tv stand like the floors hadn't been mopped. Had many rules forthe kitchen table. We brought our own table cloth to cover it so there wouldn't be any issues. Other than that the kitchen was well stocked with pans, dishes etc.

Peaceful

Stay was great. Instructions were easy to follow and the property was very nice. Private pond and dock. It was nice and quiet. Caught some bass. Fell asleep in a chair with my pole in the water. What else can a guy ask for!

Wouldn't change a thing!

We stayed at a friend's house in Lake Luzerne two years ago and fell in love with the area. It's as quiet or as "busy" as you want to make it due to its proximity to Saratoga, Lake George, etc. Last year we stayed at one of Diane's other properties (Looney Bin) and loved it. In looking at her other listings, we chose the House on Mini Golden Pond this year, as it was a bit more spacious AND sits right on the most beautiful pond. The house didn't disappoint. I think the biggest surprise that we found that didn't translate through the listing photos was the size and layout of the kitchen. IT IS ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. A huge countertop prep space with a picture window overlooking the yard and the pond... Location was awesome, as you can walk right into "town," where there is a food market, pharmacy, clothing boutique, scenic river overlook, library, and a few historical structures. We had our dog with us (another reason we exclusively choose to rent with Diane), and she loved walking into town or doing more scenic walks if you go that other direction from the house. Our girls (14 and 16) are a little old for just wanting to go swimming, so they LOVED the paddleboat and kayaks that come with the house. The pond itself is clear and clean and so incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The bathroom was recently renovated and includes a new full-size washer and dryer. Honestly, if you're considering booking this, just click now and do it - you won't regret it (and you may not want to leave)!

Wonderful week in an idyllic home

We were a party of 6 adults who stayed a week in order to make day trips to Lake George, Ticonderoga, Albany, Saratoga Springs and western Vermont. We found the home to be very comfortable and, in all ways, as depicted in the listing (or better). It was perfectly situated for the types of trips I mentioned and for days you want to stay on property, too. We hope to return!

Great Stay

We were passing through on a vacation with our dog and had never visited this area before. We only had a couple of days to stay, but were very glad we did. This was such a nice, private spot on the water and we were able to use the kayaks on the pond. The property manager was so prompt with responses to our questions and very helpful with ideas of things to do nearby, including hikes, biking trails, and restaurants. Wish we had more time to explore, but would definitely return. Also, so glad it was dog-friendly.
