“Wonderful location right near the beach. Nice pool/hot tub/ firepits. Yummy breakfast served to room. Loved that it was pet friendly. Easy parking right near room. Very friendly and helpful manager- thank you Doug!!😊”

“Hotel was beautiful and new. Very convenient. Staff helpful and cordial.
Just a little reminder at end of stay that we would have appreciated more than two cups and coffee discs. Had to find housekeeper on a few days to get more since we were there for almost a week. Suggested they put more in initially or replenish daily.
Only other issue was loud grating noise when pulling sliding bathroom door closed. Appeared to just need some oil! Staff took note of these issues as we checked out and...
“I’ve had a lovely experience staying at this place. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable, there were inly 3 pillows but you can request for more. The only thing that was a downside was the WiFi. It was very slow and difficult to connect to. But I had cell service so it’s not a big deal. Walk to the beach was 5 minutes and it was the highlight of my short stay. ”

José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!”
“Part was under construction - but can't help that. Didn't let us know about the parking and having to move our car. Hot Tub was broken. The rooms were great. Very spacious and clean. Some of the trees blocked the ocean view, but all in all - was a nice place to stay.”

We had a downstairs room with a porch facing the ocean. The wood burning fireplace was a nic esurprise as was rhe size of the room. There were lots of things out on the lawn to do, pool/hot tub, and areas to just sit and watch the waves from above, and it was a very short walk down to the beach. We loved the little restaurant next...
