“Hotel right off Interstate..you can walk to fast food restaurant and gas station near by..microwave and small refrigerator was a plus..could be a little cheaper it was $106 a night..but over all good stay”

“A horse lovers dream! With over 400 acres to roam, it's hard not to find something beautiful here. The staff is very friendly and fun to talk with. The gathering areas are chock full of activities and things to look at it. Nearly any window you look out you'll see a horse! The animals, and there are many besides horses, are super friendly and lovable. We loved playing with all the animals here. We will definitely be back! ”

“Definitely it the cleanest of places I’ve stayed. As always with traveling my intent was not to be holed up on a room the entire time… so the bed was fine and the tv and mini fridge worked. Water pressure and hot water was good and I guess that was all I needed. ”

“Everything was incredibly clean. Room access couldn’t have been easier. Lots of attention to details in the room. Complimentary water. Frig with sodas. Very comfortable beds, bedding and cold air conditioning. Very well updated old school motor inn. Would definitely stay here again!!!”

“Old worn out facility. Dust and dirt in the room. TV did not work (but the staff did come by and fix it. When one guy could not fix it, he brought a co-worker, who fixed it. They were really good guys.) really noisy outside. ”

“The Gillen House is a perfect destination if you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful getaway that is close to Athens and not too far away from Atlanta. The hosts, Edward and Cynzia, were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The food at breakfast was excellent. Especially the steaks and sides that we had for dinner on our arrival evening. The room was spotless and perfect. We definitely enjoyed our stay!”
