Nido di campo Gufo a Whiteface Club and Resort a Lake Placid

Questo molto desiderabile casa su misura si trova sulle proprietà Whiteface Club and Resort a Lake Placid ed è perfetto per una vacanza in famiglia. La nostra bella casa ha accesso completo lago ed è a pochi passi dalla spiaggia / lungomare, porto turistico e 3 ristoranti, tra cui il bellissimo Lake Placid Lodge. Passeggiata al nostro campo da golf a 18 buche, sei argilla centro campo da tennis o passeggiare fino alla spiaggia completa di kayak, tavole pagaia, canoe e barche a vela, (lezioni di vela offerti). Durante l'inverno, godere lo sci o racchette da neve impianti sci di fondo al centro nordico e l'accesso diretto alla pista storica presa di coniglio.

La nostra casa ha due cucine completamente attrezzate, uno al piano terra e uno al piano terra. Tre bei camini in pietra muratura, uno che si trova in una veranda protetta in via del ponte principale del piano nobile, danno a questa casa un ambiente accogliente e piacevole in ogni stagione. E 'decorato con mobili Adirondack, alcuni dei quali realizzati da artisti e designer locali mano con gusto.

La nostra casa si trova in alto e gode di una vista mozzafiato del lago placido, Whiteface Mountain e le alte vette. Il villaggio di Lake Placid è una corsa 1 1/2 miglio di distanza e un luogo ideale per godere di oggetti d'antiquariato, boutique, ristoranti, caffè e un teatro costruito nel 1800.

Wedding weekend

ADK luxury!

We had an incredible stay! The house is absolute perfection. We celebrated Christmas with our family here and loved having two kitchens and living spaces so that we had a place to gather when our baby was asleep in the master bedroom. The house is stunning- the pictures don’t do it justice. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. We were happily surprised by the 3 Christmas trees! The beds are incredibly comfortable, the fireplaces are beautiful, and the view of lake placid is awesome. It’s the perfect mountain mansion!

Great Accommodations in ADK

My family of 6 + infant had a perfect mid-summer vacation. Camp Owl's Nest is a unique property that combines a rustic cabin experience with elegant accommodations.The included membership to the Whiteface Club & Resort is a super perk. We worked a lot into 4 days: golf, tennis, fly fishing, hiking, sightseeing and fine dining. Only complaint: interior lighting is too dim.

Super comfy spot in LP

Beautiful cabin type property minutes from town! What I think I loved the most about the property is the upstairs and downstairs can be basically separate, so if you have a younger audience they can do their own thing and come in and out of the home without disturbing who's upstairs. Loved it

Amazing!

We had the most amazing time. The place is huge and beautifully decorated with top of the line amenities. The outdoor screened in room with a large stone fireplace was my favorite. It was raining while we were there so it allowed us to be outside, but stay warm and cozy. I could go on an on about how top notch Owl's Nest is. Andrew, the owner, was so pleasant to speak with. I can't wait to go back again!

January family vacation

As an after the holidays get together for our family, every expectation was met. The house was beautiful, impeccably maintained, and very user friendly. All of the amenities were clear for our use. The staples that were provided helped us not use ours that we packed, but we replaced for the next lucky family to have as well. The child gates were greatly appreciated as our inquisitive grandchildren wanted to explore. It gave us an opportunity to keep them safe and on the same level with us when needed. Definitely a top notch home that is clearly loved by all! Absolutely gorgeous covered in snow, but we look forward to renting again in the fall to enjoy even more of what the area has to offer.

Excellent Stay for Family

Camp Owl's Nest worked nicely for our family time in Lake Placid. Having upstairs and downstairs bedrooms was very helpful for keeping a quiet space for young grandchildren. It was a pleasure to be so close to the lake in addition to our hiking outings.

Beautiful spacious Lake Placid retreat

Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Camp Owl's Nest. Pros: Spacious, new/remodeled decor, fireplaces and outdoor spaces, quiet, access to beach and lake, great golfing and tennis, easy to get into town and parking lots for shuttle access (we were there for the Ironman.) The view of the lake is peaceful, and proximity to hiking trails was great, too. Cons: Propane tank was out so we replaced it. There is no a/c in the downstairs rooms, only fans. The fifth room with two double beds is actually an open loft space, just something to consider if you need privacy.
