Little Burn Lodge - Lake Placid Getaway in posizione perfetta Resort

Vista sulle montagne in cima al lato boscoso della collina nel quartiere resort premier. Circondanti Lake Placid Lodge, Whiteface Lodge, Whiteface Club Resort e Mackenzie Mountain Wilderness insieme offrono golf, tennis, nuoto, canottaggio, spa, sentieri, escursioni nella natura selvaggia, oltre a punti ristoro informali o sulla riva del lago con viste spettacolari. Tutto questo e il centro di Main Street sono 6 minuti in auto.

Al piano principale c'è una stanza di polvere, una camera matrimoniale con letto matrimoniale, bagno padronale con doccia piastrellata e cabina armadio. C'è un'altra camera da letto con un divano letto e letto a rotelle. Anche al piano principale è una grande sala con soffitto a volta che comprende soggiorno con camino a gas surround in pietra, TV via cavo a schermo piatto, una cucina aperta con ripiani in pietra e elettrodomestici inox GE, e una zona pranzo.

Il livello inferiore è dotata di due camere da letto, una con un letto matrimoniale e l'altra con due letti singoli e un letto a castello. C'è anche una zona salotto, bagno completo, e un facile accesso al garage riscaldato, con pannelli in legno 2 allegato impostato come sala giochi con Wii gioco, calcio balilla e spazio sufficiente per lavorare con gli sci e le biciclette. C'è un barbecue a gas Weber sul ponte della cucina, e un bel ponte sul retro della casa per barbecue e grande tavolo da picnic.

Si può sciare o camminare dalla casa sul Jackrabbit Trail o semplicemente sedersi sul ponte e godere ascoltando il torrente borbottante tutto l'anno sul retro della proprietà.

Cozy, but spacious. We were able to have our own area to read, game, craft, etc. Very clean, instructions were spot on. Amazing views and loved that it was set back from the road. Will be back next year!

Brush your stresses off…

Really amazing place. Need a reset from the stress of everyday life, this is the place for you. Ski, hike, sled (and luge), skate, bike, swim and whatever else nature provides. Turn the TV off, set up the away message, and get outside. Plenty of board games for family fun if you can resist turning back on the noise.

We had a great time staying at the house. Had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Loved both decks. You could hear the crick water flow which sounded so relaxing. Quiet area to stay and so close to shops and LP.

Private tree house

The “Tree House” was in a fabulous location, convenient to Olympic sites, John Brown’s farm, breweries and shops, while affording privacy away from the bustle of the village. The kitchen was very well-stocked, important to 5 “mature” girlfriends who like to cook at home. The host responded quickly to questions and issues. A few long-term issues need to be taken care of and the host has already assured me they will be addressed. Outside, the decks, gutters, and grill needed attention. Inside, the ice maker, dining chairs, and blinds should be upgraded. Certainly not the host’s fault but we were there during a heat wave and the ceiling fans upstairs were inadequate, although the downstairs stayed cool. Finally, the game room picture showed a foosball table which was missing and the listing included “hot tub/ spa” which was not there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and outside of the heat it was a very positive experience in Lake Placid.

Great family vacation in a fantastic cabin!

We had an amazing time staying at the cabin! Was in a great location minutes from downtown Lake Placid with gorgeous mountain views. The host was very gracious and was easy to communicate with when needed.

Ski trip

The place was perfect for 5 adult men to use as base camp to ski. The house was perfectly outfitted and was exactly as described. Everything functioned as outlined in the description, the house was clean, warm, and smartly laid out for guests. Only gripe was the low level of dishwasher detergent. As well, the location was great; close to town, supermarket, and short drive to mountain. We hope to come again.

Great weekend.

It was easy to find and on clear days we had a great view of the high peaks from the back deck. I was a great proximity to the whiteface club where we sidestepped some showers during the round. It was a bit out on the edge of town but I prefer the quiet to the sometimes crowded village scene. We had a great stay.

Great location

We were a family of four, brother and sister-in-law, and future son-in-law. The accommodations were very comfortable. The golf course located across the street was great for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. A short drive into town made for a very enjoyable few days.

Perfect Christmas

This property was perfect for our 4 grown children, 2 spouses, 2 grandchildren and my husband and me. The house is exactly as it appears in photos and description. Quiet neighborhood yet a very short drive to restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend and I feel certain we will rent again. Thank you Dave for sharing your home with us.
