Well let's start with breakfast, NOTHING says we do hot breakfast everyday, just that we offer a breakfast everyday. My husband is currently going through some intense medical treatments, as I told you at check-in, and unfortunately hot breakfast is NOT an option every day. I am sorry you had hard feeling about cleaning up after yourself. Its a sanitary thing for us here and always will be, As for being non existent, I'm not sure what more you would have liked from me. I saw you every day and asked how things were going and if you slept well. You kept saying everything was fine during your stay with us. I'm also a bit confused with your comment on our street lights. The road leading up to our driveway has plenty of street lights and we have an extra bright one at our driveway entrance, our parking lot is covered in solar lights, AND we have a bright flood light that turns on as soon as you step past the first garage stall. Hope you find what you're looking for somewhere else next time. Sorry it wasn't with us. Good luck! ;)

I am sorry you feel you had such a bad experience during your stay here with us. That one small gesture of picking up your own dishes and dropping them in a bucket as you leave the dining room is greatly appreciated and keeps my mornings running quick and smooth. Most of our guests are more than happy to help with this. Now as for Sunday's breakfast, once I realized it was not going to be done at 9am (ended up being 20min late) I checked on everyone (at 9:04), and let you all know what had happened with the quiche. I made sure everyone had drinks, checked to see if anyone needed anything while you waited, and kept checking until breakfast was finally ready. As for your room not having its bathroom in the room, I'm not sure how I could have helped with that. Our room descriptions are stated on all sites we book with. This room clearly states, external bathroom directly across the hall. Hence the low cost for this room due to this minor inconvenience. As for your last complaint about the toilet paper. There was toilet paper when you arrived but you quickly went through it as you stated the following morning at breakfast. I let you know there were extra rolls and towels in the bathroom closet that was in the bathroom behind the door. You said you thought that door was locked. I let you know that there was no lock on that door and that I would immediately check on it to make sure it wasn't somehow stuck. After I finished serving you that first morning, I ran straight upstairs, put a new roll on, checked the door, and made sure it was slightly opened so it would not give you any more trouble. I assumed that fixed the issue since you never brought it up again. I had also stated a few times to text with any issues. I am available to help 24/7. As for your final hurtful comment about the property needing new management. I am assuming you were thinking this was more of a motel type environment over a small and quiet local B&B here on the lake. We have no "staff" or "management". We are family owned and operated. I put in many hours behind the scenes here to try and make everyone's stay with us as memorable and relaxing as I can. I hope that wherever you decide to stay in the future is more of what you're looking for.
