The Esso Cottage

About this space
The Esso Cottage is part of the historic section of Lake Worth, known as Parrot Cove. The cottage was built in 1925 and was used by the caretakers for the yellow home next door to the north. Now, the cottage is recognized by the solar powered, restored, 1930's Esso gas pump that lights the driveway at night.

On the inside, the cottage is decorated to be a fun and colorful experience with curated mid century items relating to Florida and the beach.
The space
In 2017 the entire Cottage was revamped and has a new coat of paint through out. The kitchen was completely redone with brand new Ikea cabinets and high end appliances, including a gas stove and Electrolux washer and dryer set.

All the beds have brand new Casper mattresses with bed linens and toiletries provided.

There is an outdoor shower behind the house with teak tiles and a high fence for privacy, please check out the photos!

Other things to note
Garbage and recycling practices - All household waste should be placed in the BLACK bin and all paper/metal/glass items can be placed TOGETHER in the YELLOW AND GREEN bin. The paper/metal/glass items do not need to be in a bag.

Garbage collection:

If you will be staying overnight on either a Sunday or Wednesday night, the BLACK garbage bin, which holds household waste, needs to be taken to the curb. This bin will need to be retrieved the following morning (Monday and Thursday) off the street.

If you will be staying over on a Thursday night, the recycling bin, which is YELLOW AND GREEN will need to be taken out and retrieved the following morning.
