“It was an absolute honor to stay in a family farmhouse with a long history and rich tradition. It was a blast from the past. It has a beautiful view across the valley in the back yard and pet a cow while you’re back there. If you’re in town for a a week or weekend on Lake Shelbyville this is a great place to stay. Less than 15 minutes to the lake and even less to town. Plenty of room to park 5 boats. Don’t forget to bring your work clothes because there’s always work to be done on the farm!! Oh,...

“We weeee there for a fishing trip but would have enjoyed staying for a getaway trip. The cottage is decorated perfect and includes everything but food and clothes cozy patio with fire pit. Firewood included. The grounds were beautiful I enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching the wildlife. There are also two fishing ponds on the property. Highly recommend!”
