Questa casa completamente restaurata nel paese degli Amish nella Contea di Lancaster è il rifugio perfetto dalle preoccupazioni della vita. Situato su un acro lungo le strade di campagna circondate da terreni agricoli, si può godere dal portico posteriore o dal patio con buca per il fuoco a legna. Il nostro cottage offre comfort moderni con tocchi di stile vintage, come splendidi pavimenti in legno originali, travi a vista e camino restaurato. Puoi rilassarti nella casa tranquilla e accogliente con una cucina completamente attrezzata, con fornelli, forno, microonde, frigorifero di dimensioni standard, teglie e pentole e padelle, oppure guidare a pochi minuti da molte attrazioni e ristoranti.

Siamo vicino a Sight and Sound Theatre, American Music Theatre, Strasburg Rail Road, Dutch Wonderland, Rockvale e Tanger Outlets, e ai mercati e alle gallerie di Lancaster City. Siamo vicino al Village of Intercourse, al Kitchen Kettle Village e a molte altre attrazioni del paese Amish.

Beautiful restored home. Very clean and very comfy beds. Great place to rest while exploring Lancaster County. So close to Strasburg. Wish we had more time to sit outside and enjoy the firepit but weather prevented that. So much history! Loved the before and after pictures. Loved the fresh baked cookies upon our arrival. Very easy to check in. Will be back! One of our favorites.

We visit this property yearly and for good reason! Clean and cozy, the best spot to unwind. Lovely firepit with plentiful wood and all needed amenities inside the cottage. Hosts are lovely - highly recommend!!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historical home. It provided everything we needed for a comfortable 5 day stay. Located in the countryside surrounded by cornfields it was quiet and peaceful but just a short ride away from quaint towns, shopping and amenities. Daily we watched Amish buggies clipclop by as we experienced the beauty of this part of the country. The home was spotless, the beds comfortable and we had everything we needed.

Outstanding in every way!!! This trip crossed off my wife's bucket list item. What a dream lication inserted straight into the middle of the Amish culture we love and admire so much. Tranquility is the best aspect of this charming property. Every day we saw Amish children scootering to school and horse drawn wagons and buggies as we drank coffee on the back porch or by the firepit. Sunrises and sunsets were amazingly beautiful. We viewed hot air balloons taking off from Lancaster every day as well No reason to leave the home but so much to do in the area you will want to venture out. Quiet, sturdy home for its age. Peaceful. No noises. Perfect!!! John and Deb are the GOATs of VRBO hosts. A must stay!!! We will be back.

The cottage was beautiful and welcoming from the first step inside! Delicious homemade cookies to greet us. Cozy bedrooms, kitchen stocked with essentials, great fire pit with seating for all 5 of us comfortably and the view and souroundings that will take your breath away! Close to attractions but just far enough away from the noise! Beautiful home that has been taken care and hosts were quick with responses. Would definitely stay again in the near future!

Well restored and maintained. The original wood was outstanding. Cookies were a nice touch. It was an idyllic spot within easy drive of every place we wanted to go. Ran into a few cobwebs in the bathroom and had an issue with yellow jackets, but that is just nature! Everything we needed was there. Too much light in the middle bedroom, especiallt the light under the top step.

This is a sweet cottage away from the hustle and bustle. It is situated on a corner and affords a beautiful view of farmland and sunrises/sunsets. The bedrooms and bathroom are all located upstairs. We loved the beams and antique furniture. There’s a griddle in the kitchen that makes cooking breakfast easy. We appreciated the air conditioning.

Short vacation

This is a beautiful property. It was clean and so charming. We loved our stay here. We loved the old farmhouse feel of the property and all the antique furnishings. The hosts were thoughtful and quick to respond to questions. We usually take this trip annually and hope to stay here again.
