Cottontail Cottage-Peaceful 1-bedroom cottage with AC in charming Lander

Located on the outskirts of Lander, on Rabbit Foot Lane, with beautiful views of the Wind River range, our cottage was furnished with one purpose: to make you feel at home after your outdoor adventures, or whatever brings you here. We hope we can bring you a bit of joy on the journey.

This studio house is small but complete with a full kitchen, dining area, living area, and bedroom all in one large room. The bathroom is directly off the bedroom space. The sofa pulls out for an additional full size bed if needed. We have a high chair, and a few toys and books to entertain children. A pack’n’play crib is available upon request. Please make sure to ask when you book!

A spacious deck welcomes you and provides beautiful views of the mountains. A serene place to relax with a swing and rocking chair.

The back porch is usually sunny with wide open views of the rest of the property. A small patio set provides a place for an outdoor meal or coffee time.

We are located just a few minutes from downtown Main Street in Lander, but you will be delighted to find that our property feels secluded and serene. We hope your stay at our cottage is a highlight of your travels and that you’ll come back next time you’re in the area!

You are welcome to explore the rest of the property if you like. If you’re lucky, you will catch a glimpse of our resident cottontail rabbits and any number of other wildlife. A map showing property lines will be included in the guest binder. Please do not send children off unattended. There is a ditch/creek with water and a small bridge further back on the property, so please use caution.

Parking is available in front of the house. We do not currently have any enclosed parking areas.


Pet policy:
$50 pet fee per stay, please add your pet when booking! If your pet will not be entering the house, no need to add.

10x10 outdoor kennel available for outdoor dogs. Please keep all medium/large dogs outdoors!

ONLY very small dogs, calm dogs, or service animals are welcome indoors. It would be most appreciated if they are not allowed on the furniture.

No pets left unattended please!
Extra cleaning fees beyond the initial $50 will be requested if there is damage or odor due to pets.
