Un séjour très agréable
Point de départ de plusieurs jours de visites en Centre - Val de Loire. Un accueil très cordial et particulièrement à l'écoute. Des petits déjeuners excellents et copieux, l'idéal pour bien commencer la journée. La piscine était très appréciable au retour de la journée et l'environnement verdoyant et calme très propice au repos.

Pas suffisamment d'informations sur les conditions d'accueil qui ont évolué par rapport à notre demande initiale, en passant d'une suite à un chalet excentré. Prix du repas du soir non communiqué lors de la commande, ni le menu à 32 euros par personne...

Bonjour Je reviens vers vous suite à votre commentaire Le chalet est nouveau et je pensais que celui ci vous plaisez Vous ne m avez rien communiqué vis à vis de ce produit que tout le monde adore du à sa position sur l étang, le confort avec cuisine et l espace Quant au repas, celui ci est marqué sur l ardoise avec le prix de la liste des vin en gros Quant au menu, la table d Hote reste un menu différent journalier changeant tous les jours suivants les produits de saison et du jour Je ne suis pas un restaurant Mes chers amis clients la communication est la clé du succès pour un séjour à votre image donc n hésitez pas à demander Une excellente continuation Aurelia

Accueil et environnement impeccables! Une parfaite destination pour s'immerger en famille dans la nature, avec les animaux, le calme et une maitresse de maison hyper sympa et acceuillante. Je conseille vivement et ne râter pas le dîner qui est la vraie cerise sur le gâteau!

Tout était parfait : très bon accueil, à part dans la chambre où masques usagés des prédécesseurs étaient restés dans la poubelle ainsi que chaussette sous le lit.

Disappointing
When I arrived the place was deserted although the three houses that form this establishment were all open, ie windows and doors. I searched for someone, even in the fields surrounding the property. I telephoned the number on the booking confirmation, and the lady who responded told me that they were attending a funeral. She explained where my room was, and that I should install myself. The room was at the top of a steep flight of stairs, and had the added attraction of being infested with lots of bugs, that are popularly called “stink bugs”. When I switched on the bed head light, the bugs were drawn to it, and even crawled on my head. The result was that I had to sleep with the main room light on all night to draw the bugs away from me. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, although the duvet was not sufficiently warm. There are lots of animals on the property, and most of them walk around freely. The best part of the stay was the breakfast that was copious. The proprietor was very welcoming and friendly when she was there!

How wonderful to have met you knowing that you know what funeral are...loosing people that we love as your lovely wife had passed away as well.. It was easier to explain you where the room was than making you wait. As mother nature, we can not control her. Very cold weather and very warm suddenly..Middle of over 40 acres, lakes etc..bugs are part of our beautiful paradise called nature. I would had known, i would had set you up into an other bedroom. As for the duvet, there are more duvet in the room as well as a heating system for confort of my lovely customer As the property description, this is a place where animals are free everywhere which brings lots of join to the little one as well as the oldest. I surrely recommend to anyone that comes to La Gaucherie to communicate at any hours when this is a trouble which I will solve. No problems, only solutions. Have a wonderful holiday in your house in the south Kindest regards aurélia

Out of this world!
Be prepared to enter in a completely different world! This place is a bit like Dr. Doolittle meets Pippi Longstocking and if you have any problems at all (!) with animals, you should probably avoid Domaine de la Gaucherie. That being said, this is an absolutely LOVELY place - esp. if you are travelling w/ (younger) kids. There is a multitude of four-legged and feathered friends living on the property, such as the donkey Harry who was actually the first to greet us at the car. Cats, a dog, horses, ducks, chickens, geese, a parrot, a chinchilla are the real stars of Domaine de la Gaucherie and they are only outdone by the fabulous owner and hostess who (upon request) even cooks a delicious dinner for all the guests. And breakfast was also out of this world! Would we stay again? In a heartbeat!!

wij zijn heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw. we waren zelfs heel laat aangekomen omdat we veel file hebben gehad, maar zij heeft voor ons nog een heerlijk warme maaltijd gemaakt. we hadden maar voor 1 nacht geboekt omdat we op doorreis waren, maar hier hadden wij zeker nog langer willen blijven. zo rustig en landelijk … heerlijk geslapen.

Sejour court (une nuit), propriété au calme, petit dejeuner copieux, bon repas le soir. Nous avons apprecié le fait qu'il y'ait des animaux dans le jardin, grande chambre, ideal pour couple avec un enfant.

Super place for family with kids
Fantastic place if you have kids until 13-14. Lots of animals that are all free in the property (not inside houses). Aurelia the owner takes really care of guests & made a very great breakfast.

Chambre d'hôte qui donne envie de revenir ;)
Auriélia a le chic pour vous faire sentir chez vous dans son domaine où sa cuisine et son accueil chaleureux vous raviront. La présence des animaux de bascours, chiens et âne, pigeon et perroquet est géniale pour les enfants et n'enlève rien à la propreté des lieux. Elle a meme prévu des jeux et déguisements pour les enfants, si le temps ne se prete pas à un saut dans la piscine. Bref nous reviendrons.Merci beaucoup

Full of character and charm
We stayed for a night with a baby and a five year old. We were greeted warmly on arrival and given a tour of the property. The room we were staying in was large and comfortable, the shower area was light and airy with fresh towels and was very clean. We had a very refreshing cold beer and the children had a splash in the pool and our son was overjoyed at all of the animals to look at. We had dinner out on the grass by the restaurant, we were unsure what to expect, but it was a wonderful three course meal including fish terrine, chicken, rattatoullie and a creme brulee and selection of desserts. The parrot came out for a little chat at the end of our meal which the children loved. Breakfast was a relaxed and filling affair with pastries and crepes and plenty of coffee. We absolutely loved our stay here, both the property and the hostess are full of character and we will be back soon. x

Beau domaine, entouré de verdure. Une hôte toujours à l’écoute. Bon petit déjeuner et cadre agréable. Bémol : la piscine qui se fait vieille (l’eau de la piscine était trouble et un peu jaune).
