Charming townhouse with pool

  • A beautiful townhouse in the middle of the town center of Laroque des Alberes at the foot of the picturesque Pyrenees. The sea and numerous beaches are a short drive away. However, if you don't feel like driving, you can enjoy a relaxing sunny day by the large private pool (approx. 5x10m) in the garden. Our property has 2 separate cottages, each with a parking space and a large common pool area, which is used exclusively by our guests.

    The cottage has a large living room with a sitting area, dining area, and an American kitchen. It sleeps a total of 6 people - 2 separate bedrooms and a passage room - and of course a bathroom with shower. The double beds have sizes 140; 160; 2 x 2 meters. On the balcony, there is seating for up to 6 people.

    Our townhouse has a private parking space in the yard.

Traumhaft schön

Es war ein super Urlaub. Die Vermieter waren super nett. Wir haben den riesigen Pool mehr als genossen. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht ohne Einschränkungen. Der Ort hat alles was man braucht - mit unglaublich vielen tollen Restaurants die Strände sind lang und wunderschön - wir werden sicher wiederkommen.

Lovely place to stay, well located, clean, quite.

We had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful part of France. We were the first guests for Alex who was helpful and accommodating, the house was a lovely old building, traditionally furnished and clean. The pool area was a fantastic bonus, we didnt expect it to be so big and spacious. The beaches of Argeles sur mer are just 15 minutes drive away and are perfect. The village had several bars and restaurants which were all exceptional. All in all 10/10 xx

vakantie in een prachtige streek, combinatie van zee en bergen

De ligging van het huis is heel gunstig, op wandelafstand van de plaatselijke handelaars en heel dicht bij het historisch centrum. De 3 kamers zijn ruim, de leefruimte eerder aan de kleine kant maar je leeft vooral buiten in de zomer. De nachten koelen redelijk af en er is voldoende wind om de kamers te verluchten en af te koelen maar een airco in de kamers zou toch een pluspunt kunnen zijn. Het zwembad is mooi en heel verzorgd en rondom zijn er mogelijkheden om te chillen, steeds met de keuze om in de zon te zitten of even af te koelen in de schaduw, hetzij van de bomen, hetzij van de aanwezige parasols. Heel aardig koppel die je enthousiast verwelkomt en steeds paraat staat voor eventuele vragen. Heel flexibel in de huurperiodes.

Propriétaire très sympathique et à l'écoute, rien à redire. Pour nous, ce n'est pas vraiment une maison, mais plutôt un appartement dans une maison. Il y a pas mal de choses à revoir : la propreté du logement est correcte si on ne regarde pas derrière le canapé ou sous le lit, la salle de bain est petite avec de la peinture qui s'effrite, et la chaleur est insoutenable car il n'y a pas de climatisation et les simples ventilateurs ne suffisent pas. De plus, certaines prises ne fonctionnent pas. À noter qu'il n'y a qu'une place de parking, ce qui peut poser problème si vous venez avec deux voitures. La piscine est très belle mais les alentours manquent d'entretien. Les transatsne sont pas confortables car il manque des coussins en dessous. La piscine est partagée avec le locataire du deuxième appartement. Pour y accéder, il faut descendre un escalier sur le côté de la maison, non éclairé le soir, ce qui est dangereux . ne sont pas conf

Une semaine de vacances au calme

Nous sommes venus à 5 (2 adultes et 3 enf.) une semaine en Août. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et disponibles par tel. Nous sommes globalement satisfait de notre séjour mais nous trouvons que le prix (1600€ la semaine - mm en Août) est excessif pour les prestations fournies (en comparaison avec d'autres expériences - la dernière en date : fin juin - juillet 24: 15j en Guadeloupe avec piscine, 3 chambres - 2 s. De bain à 3min de la mer: 1700€) Emplacement: top si voulez vous reposer, très calme au coeur du village. Petits Commerces à pied. Prévoir courses rapidement car il y a RIEN à dispo (sel, poivre, huile...) Piscine : le + de la maison et c'est pourquoi nous l'avons choisi. attention à noter qu'elle elle est partagée avec un autre logement Et non chauffée. Ca peut sembler être un détail mais étant en contrebas de la maison (escalier), et très à l'ombre donc ça change la température de l'eau. Etat général: mobilier d'époque mais propre dans l'ensemble, peinture qui s'écaille (dans la salle d'eau) et enorme toile d'araignées (impossible de la louper) en plein salon, les coussins des lits sont jaunatre (à changer peut-être). 3 chambres mais 1 sans fenêtre donc très chaud malgré le ventilateur fourni. 3 ventilateurs dans le logement 👍 Connexion wifi sur place mais pas de chaîne française sur la TV. L'annonce est pour une maison mais c'est plus un appartement (ou l'étage d'une maison) qu'une maison de ville car le rdc n'est pas disponible et nous sommes au 1er étage.

Lovely village and very helpful owner

The property was essentially a flat accessed via a flight of stairs, it was very spacious and had a kitchen/ living open plan and three bedrooms and bathroom. There was also a small balcony area and a safe in situ. The village itself is very picturesque and operates on a one way system. The pool area was also down a flight of stairs but it was beautifully maintained and a lovely secluded pool shared with the residents of the other holiday accommodation. The parking access was somewhat tight especially for a bigger car and if the people in the other bay park sensibly it is achievable to park well enough. There was sadly no air con or fans in place, these were essential due to the extreme heat whilst we were there so we did buy two which was fine as we were mostly in the area to see family who have a holiday home in the area so we're able to pass on to them. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly

Wonderful french village and fantastic hosts

Laroque is a beautiful village with a vibrant and welcoming local community. Our hosts made sure they were on hand to let us in even though we were late and made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible with great tips for local restaurants and beaches. We had a marvellous week.

Agréable séjour dans un village pittoresque où nous avons bien apprecie là piscine

Bel accueil de la part des propriétaires, joli village pittoresque catalan à deux pas d Argeles de nombreuses commodités sur place « commerce mis et restauration » piscine très appréciée par une chaleur caniculaire à prévoir peut être en cas de forte chaleur d amener un ou deux ventilateurs dans cet appartement un peu enclave du fait du relief des remparts à proximité. Équipements et biens conformes à la description de l annonce. Les propriétaires restent très disponibles tout en restants discrets. L’accès à la piscine partagée avec une autre famille est un tres bon point pour cette réservation

Schöner Urlaub mit Wohlfühlcharakter!

Wurden von Aleks und Sascha sehr herzlich und freundlich empfangen. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Dreifamilienhaus. Aleks und Sascha bewohnen das Erdgeschoss, die Urlauber je eine Wohnung versetzt darüber (über Treppen erreichbar). Die Wohnung verfügt über alles, was nötig ist. Einfach aber gemütlich. Wünsche würden sofort erfüllt, (Bettwäsche) und regelmäßig wurde gefragt, ob alles ok ist oder wir etwas brauchen. Poolbereich super, wie abgebildet, konnten dort an heißen Tagen toll chillen und schwimmen.... Restaurants, Bars schnell und fußläufig zu erreichen. Kleines Dörfchen mit sehr herzlichen Einwohnern. 1x wöchentlich toller kleiner Markt und eine Bäckerei, mit lecker Süßem und für den täglichen Bedarf an Baguette... :-) Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können das Objekt bedenkenlos weiter empfehlen! Toller Ausgangspunkt für Fahrten in die Berge, oder ans Meer, wie auch größere Städte (Perpignan, Carcassonne... oder über die Grenze nach Spanien). Wir kommen gerne wieder! Ett fasntastiskt ställe med ett pooloråde som gav det där lilla extra. Mycket trevligt värdpar som verkligen ville att vi skulle trivas. Ett ställe som vi gärna rekomenderar för den som vill uppleva Laroque-des-Alberes.

Relaxing

We were a group of five and found the property to be spacious ,clean and situated in the centre of the village fairly close to the small bars etc. The bus stop is only a short walk away as are some very pleasant walks. The pool is a good size although it probably needed to be cleaned more often. Unfortunately there was no kettle so we had to boil water in a saucepan . We mentioned this to the owners at the end of the stay so I think this will be resolved. Also there were no towels supplied but bed linen was. We found the owners to be very pleasant and as I think they are quite new to letting holiday property, these small proplems will be resolved. We all agreed that we would recommend this property

A lovely house with a beautiful, private swimming pool.

We had a very enjoyable holiday in Laroque des Alberes. Aleks and Sacha are wonderful hosts and very helpful. The house and pool were perfect and the location is ideal for exploring the surrounding areas with Argeles sur Mer, Collioure and the Spanish border only short drives away. We were a party of 4 which included two teenage girls and they loved the house and pool as well as all the activities on offer in the area. Would definately recommend.

Wunderbar

Wunderschönes kleines Haus, mit allem was man braucht. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool und Garten geliebt und wir wollten eigentlich gar nicht nach Hause fahren. Die Vermieter super lieb, immer da und haben mit allem geholfen wenn was schief ging oder gef ehlt hat. Bäcker und Metzger, sowie mittwochs kleiner Wochenmarkt fussläufig. Der Ort wunderschön, malerisch alles da was man braucht. Meer mit dem Auto gut und schnell erreichbar, wunderbare Strände für die Kinder, unsere 5 und 6 Jahre. Wir werden wieder kommen. El Jaars

Southern France as it has to be

If you look for a tiny oasis in southern France Laroque des Alberes has everything. Mountain trials, Bike routes, Beautiful vineyards, ancient history and hidden spaces like this apartment. We ´ve been here twice now and enjoy the rural natural environment, of course the hosts and the backyard, that is a place where you can let your soul enjoy. We did. We means a family of four - with two little daughters - that certainly loved the pool, the barbecuing at night and even the walks through the hills - the trailhead is only 5 min from "home".

Super - Très agréable

Appartement très bien (avec 1 étage) dans une maison et bien situé dans le village très charmant. Très bon accueil et disponibilité des propriétaires. Très sympathiques. 3 grandes vraies belles chambres (à l'étage) + draps fournies. Petite Terrasse agréable. La piscine privative au calme est un réel plus, juste à partager avec l'autre location qui n'est pas un inconvénient, très bien aménagée avec salon extérieur (parfait pour l'apéritif....entre autre), grande bouées à disposition, avec belle vue sur les étoiles la nuit. Bord de mer à 15 minutes. 1 seule remarque : les sanitaires dans la salle de bain. Nous étions 4 adultes + 1 enfant.

Bonne location
