Nearby, you will find restaurants along the beach promenade, a variety of shops, a pharmacy, a health center, and excellent public transport connections. A car is not necessary, although if you wish to explore the island, bus services are nearby, and we can provide schedules and recommendations. Car rentals can also be arranged at competitive prices.

Within walking distance or a short drive, you can reach popular attractions such as Las Arenas Shopping Centre, El Muelle Shopping Centre, El Corte Inglés, the Alfredo Krauss Auditorium, Santa Catalina Park, and the Elder Science Museum, making this flat a convenient and comfortable base for your stay.

The apartment is located in one of the most desirable areas, the La Puntilla neighborhood, right where the city meets the sea. You’ll enjoy the tranquility of a residential street, yet with all the vibrant atmosphere just around the corner.
The best thing about our neighborhood is that you don’t need a car at all. Just a few steps away, you’ll find:
The beach is 20 meters away. Literally, as soon as you step out the door, you’ll be on the sand at Las Canteras. This specific area (La Puntilla) has very calm, crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, or enjoying time with your family in complete safety.
Just a 3-minute walk away is the iconic Mercado del Puerto. A historic spot that serves as a traditional market by day and, in the afternoon and evening, becomes the favorite hangout for tapas, local wines, and excellent international cuisine. Plus, the boardwalk is lined with restaurants and oceanfront terraces.
Within a 200-meter radius, you’ll find several supermarkets, pharmacies, laundromats, ATMs, and shops—everything you need for your daily life!
From the beach, you can walk to the spectacular natural area of El Confital (about 15 minutes away), a wild bay with incredible views and unforgettable sunsets.
Excellent transportation links: A 10-minute walk will take you to the centrally located Santa Catalina Park and the Poema del Mar Aquarium. The main bus station (Intercambiador) is also located there, perfect if you want to explore other parts of the island or head straight to the airport.

Getting around Playa de Las Canteras is quite simple and comfortable, as it has a well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the movement of visitors. Here are some recommendations:

Walking: The promenade along the beach is perfect for walking. You can walk the entire length of the beach, enjoying the views, the sea breeze and the wide variety of shops and restaurants along the promenade.

Bike: Bike lanes are available in certain areas of the promenade, making it an excellent option for getting around quickly and in an environmentally friendly way. In addition, there are several bike rental points nearby.

Public Transport: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has a good network of buses that will allow you to get to the beach from different parts of the city. Public bus lines (Guaguas) are frequent and affordable.

Car: If you prefer to use a car, there are several car parks close to the beach, although it can be difficult to find a parking space during peak hours or high season. In addition, many nearby streets have regulated parking areas.

Taxis: You can also opt for taxis, which are easily accessible and relatively inexpensive. There are several taxi ranks near the beach.

Electric scooter: As in many modern cities, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, you can also rent electric scooters, a practical and fun option for getting around the area quickly.
