This whole place was DISGUSTING. For starters, as soon as you walk in, you get met with a strong smell of body odor and something mold-like. It’s clear that this is a home that the host is living in, and he rents out the rooms like a “hotel”. It was very very dirty.When we got into the room, it reeked. You got 1 blanket that smelled like it hadn’t been washed in a hot minute. We dealt with it. I was going to use the restroom to shower, just to be met with a sign that the bathroom in the room is under “temporary renovation” and we had to use the one in the hall.So as I go to use the one in the hall, I’m met with a disgusting toilet, a moldy shower, a sink with who knows what sprayed all over it, toothpaste splatter on the mirrors, a cockroach on the floor, empty toilet paper holder, and so much more. I made the mistake of walking barefoot ONE time and my feet turned brown.The room is advertised as “with AC”, but that’s only when the host wants to turn it on. You don’t get a remote to control it or the temperature, and he turns it off at night. As someone from the Pacific Northwest, where our nights are around 50-60 degrees, I’m not used to sleeping in 75 degree weather. I was sweating all night. The host was really hard to get ahold of as well. He never answered any of my calls, even after I got a bad cut on my hip from a desk in the room and couldn’t find a first aid kit. He came by 10-15 minutes later with a few small bandaids and hand sanitizer.PLEASE DONT STAY HERE
