We had various issues with the outside area
1. Plastic foliage off the wall left around pool area
2 metal wall plaques fallen off wall left around pool area.
3. Had to request a pool clean not been done.
4. That green cushion you see on photo in terrible dirty state with cigarette burn.
5. Water hose pipe leaking ( couldn't water dying plants) or rinse around pool area.
6. No outside broom to clear away debris
7. Festoon outside lights not all working with hanging live wire.
Inside. 1. A dangerous faulty iron with live wires exposed.
2. Master shower had what looked like thick glue or corking running down the wall and on bottom of shower tray.
3. The quality of bed linen not great pillows very thin and sweat stained UGH.
Now having said all that Shawn responded very quickly to all the outside issues replaced garden hose and dirty cushion, sent maintenance to tidy up pool area and arranged a pool clean.
He sent a new iron also.
If checks were more thorough before guests checked in all these issues would have been picked up? Its not guest responsibility to do maintenance checks.We were there for 14 nights checked out 10th aug so the next guests would have found a more pleasant arrival then we did we left the outside in a nicer state we even nurtured some plants back to life. Again Shawn's reaction to these problems were prompt, he sent us a box of cookies for our disappointment so thank you for that.could be a really good house if they upped the standards
