Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. “Great staff and a friendly welcome made my one night stay quite enjoyable. The food was great both in the evening and morning especially being sat outside on the terrace next to the River Avon which was a very pleasant experience. It was extremely hot weather during my stay and the current lack of AC made sleeping difficult especially with the large noisy room fan provided. However I understand that AC is due to be installed shortly so I wouldnt hesitate in staying at the hotel again if work...

“Perhaps I made the wrong choice but I did not enjoy my night and left before my (paid for) second night. There was one light in the room, a table lamp that was damaged and could not be altered. There were supposed to be towels in the showers but they were face flannel sized. I am really not sure what the people running the facilities were trying to achieve, but it was uncomfortable and unpleasant. Never again.”
