Vacanze Laurel Run

We were greated by a very friendly front desk person. We were told that our room had been moved down to the 4th floor since the elevator was not working. The next morning as we were walking down the stairs we came upon a family where the Dad was having to maneuver his large teenage boy’s wheelchair down the stairs. We felt so bad for him. The hotel didn’t seem to have very many occupants. The room seemed clean until I wiped some water off the floor and the towel was brown. The beds were comfortable and the AC worked well. The bathroom towels were extremely thin and therefore not very absorbent or comfortable. The room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay. The pool was nice. There were no towels on the shelf in the pool area. The breakfast area was very sparse and lacked proper bowls and silverware/plasticware. The carpet was not very clean in the breakfast area. I was sent an email to do an electronic checkout and it was wanting me to sign a paper charging me $50 for a cleaning fee. I didn’t sign it and asked at the front desk about it. I was told that I did not owe any money and the $50 hold they put on the card upon arrival in case of incidentals or damage would be refunded in a few days. The room was cheaper than most hotels. I think if they put in a little more effort on keeping things properly stocked and working this would be a great value. But I would not stay there again.

It was awuite area nice view when driving

This was a great place, we used as an overflow for our family stay on the lake, this was perfect, great location and super cozy. Would definitely stay again!

If you are a solo traveler or a couple and need a comfortable, clean, quiet and amenity filled bed and breakfast that treats you like you are at home then this is the place. Also conveniently located to many activities. Will absolutely return. Zero complaints excellent property and excellent hospitality and delicious homemade breakfasts.
