“Graziosa costruzione rurale ristrutturata perfettamente e dotata di tutti i confort. Proprietari che ti assistono amabilmente intrattenendoti e dandoti consigli se richiesti. Bellissima camera con ampio bagno, pulizia perfetta, colazione 10 e lode. Vale cento volte i pochi minuti necessari per arrivare. ”

“Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. ”

“My husband recently stayed at this lovely family run hotel and was really impressed. Before his arrival they even called ahead to ask if he’d like them to reserve his tea time slot in case it filled up, such a thoughtful touch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. They also went the extra mile by preparing him a packed lunch for the next day, which was much appreciated while he was working away. “Struttura di 3 stelle ma con i prezzi di un 4 stelle. Per quello che l'hotel offre, tolta la posizione dominante sulle Angus glens, trovo che il prezzo non sia giustificato. Se si sta più di una notte non vengono fatte le pulizie in camera, non c'è un frigobar con delle boccette d'acqua nelle stanze, e se vuoi l'acqua la devi pagare a parte. Anche la colazione è davvero molto povera per quello che uno paga. Sinceramente non ci tornerei.”

“Our stay at Marcliffe was wonderful and felt truly luxurious. The staff went to every length to make sure we were comfortable. While there were small mix-ups with our breakfasts, the inconvenience was quickly overshadowed by the service of having the meal delivered to our room and the delicious cooked meals. It was so special staying here, and we would highly recommend it to our friends and family. ”
