“Clean, spacious room in a historic building. Underground car park nearby and in the heart of a shopping area with great restaurants choices too. Perfect shopping location! And only a 20 min drive into Amsterdam airport, which makes this a great location for a flight option. Hotel staff are fantastic, and Luisa was incredible making check-in both easy and informative, including history of the building. Unfortunately no air conditioning (yet).”

“The hotel is ideally located if you are planning to visit the Zandvoort motor racing circuit which is literally across the road. The hotel is located really close to the long sandy beach and about a 20 minute walk from the train station. One evening I had a meal in the bar / restaurant, entrecote steak with fries and vegetables, which was very good. My room was fine but not brilliant. The reception staff instead completely inefficient, they did not provide us with an extra blanket because they did not have the hotel being full and in the end the hair dryer did not work, I went down with wet hair at 10 in the evening and they replied that they had no others and could not do anything, I raised my voice because such a thing is unacceptable and by chance a new hair dryer came...

Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen und waren sehr zufrieden: Das Zimmer mit modernem Bad war sauber, die Lage in der Nähe des Hafens für uns gut und die Dame am Empfang sehr sympathisch. In unserem Zimmer konnte man die Fenster nicht öffnen, wenn ich nicht irre (das hat uns oder das Zimmer jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt). Kostenloser Parkplatz direkt am Hotel. Wenn ich nochmals nach IJmuiden oder in die Umgebung reise, würde ich das Hotel wieder buchen.”
