“Very comfortable room and lovely wee sitting room. Very pleasant staff and delicious meals. Loved the open fire on Friday evening but we were disappointed that it was not in use on Saturday evening. Lesley Thomson”

“It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room. We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price.”

CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. STAROPRAMEN ON TAP (MY FAVOURITE) AND GOOD SELECTION OF WHISKEY. LOTS OF TAKE AWAY RESTAURANTS AND PUBS CLOSE BY.”
