Elegant Traditional Home Steps from the Lake, with Garden and Panoramic Terrace

RIALTOQUATTRO is an elegant, traditional home located in the heart of the village of Cerro, just a few steps from the lake.
A private and authentic retreat, it features a secluded garden and a spacious panoramic terrace and is designed for guests who appreciate a slower, more discreet way of experiencing the lake.
Carefully renovated in 2025, the house preserves the charm of its original architecture — exposed beams, walnut ceilings and a fireplace — seamlessly combined with modern comforts and high-quality finishes.
Spread over three levels, the property consists of two independent living units, connected by an external staircase.
This layout makes it an ideal solution for families, couples or small groups who wish to share time together while maintaining comfort, privacy and autonomy.
Each unit has its own entrance and separate living spaces and can also be rented individually.
The house is located just a few steps from the lake, the small harbor and the equipped beach (with sun loungers and deck chairs), as well as from the village’s most appreciated restaurants and bars, a grocery store, a children’s playground and a sailing school.
Thanks to its central location, the village can be enjoyed entirely on foot, without the need to use a car.
A private parking space is available upon request (suitable for small cars) directly in front of the house. Alternatively, a large public parking area is located approximately 100 meters away.

Main unit — up to 5 guests
The main unit is arranged over two levels.
On the ground floor, guests are welcomed by a cozy entrance with fireplace, a bright living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and a small private green dehor.
There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with a dining table for six, a recently renovated bathroom with walk-in shower, and a laundry area with washing machine and dryer.
The kitchen (equipped with dishwasher, oven and induction cooktop) opens onto a large private outdoor area, sheltered by lush jasmine hedges, palm trees and lemon plants. This space features a shaded dining area for 8–10 people and a barbecue, making it ideal for outdoor lunches and dinners.
The upper floor includes a landing used as a relaxation area with a one-and-a-half-size sofa bed, the master bedroom overlooking the village and the mountain peaks of the Piedmont shore, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom with bathtub/shower facing the garden.

Attic — up to 2 guests
The attic is a romantic and panoramic retreat, ideal for a couple.
It is accessed via a traditional independent external wooden staircase, rather steep, and is therefore not suitable for guests with mobility issues or for small children.
Equipped with air conditioning, the attic includes a dining area with table, refrigerator, sink, microwave oven and induction cooktop, a spacious double bedroom with lake and mountain views, a bathroom with shower overlooking greenery, and a large panoramic terrace.
The terrace, accessible from outside the house, is furnished with a table (for 4–6 people), umbrella and sun loungers. It is a perfect space for breakfast, relaxing moments or sunset aperitifs, offering open views over the lake and the surrounding mountains.

The house is ideally located for visiting the Borromean Islands, the Santa Caterina Hermitage, the Rocca di Angera and the Sasso del Ferro cable car.
In about a 10-minute drive you can reach Laveno Mombello, where a wider selection of services, restaurants, bars and shops is available, as well as the ferry terminal connecting the two shores of Lake Maggiore, including car transport.
