“I was impressed both by the cleanliness and the personality of this motel. It's not your normal cooky cutter hotel that all look alike on the inside. It has a throwback charm to it that is very unique. It could use a bit of paint touch up in a couple of corners and there were a few very minor chips in the furniture that just added to the charm. The breakfast was no feast, but nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, variety of coffees, several different cereals, and a few breads. Just a warning, this...

“Great hotel! We were visiting town for Risefest in Sheldon and found LeMars to be a beautiful place to stay overnight - that coincidentally had their own Ice Cream Festival going on the same weekend. Lovely grounds, extremely spacious rooms and service you'd expect from a luxury hotel. We will definitely stay here again!”

“Not only was the hotel clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and check- in and out was a breeze. It was also a bonus that the reception we went to was right next door! ”

The room was as advertised, great for two travellers. The breakfast was a treat as always. Great location: easy on-easy-off from the highway, but far enough away you don't hear the noise. Just so thankful for our experience.”
