“The hostess was enthusiastic-- a florist with a lovely garden. We had very lovely conversations within my fractured French. Excellent restaurant recommendation from her that was a short and easy walk. The local park we went through is very pleasant and a nice play to sit. There were other guests yet we had no idea until we came to breakfast. We also saw them at the same restaurant. ”

“The hostess and her charming house were full of character. We loved her personality and the ability to connect. Sweet, charmingly furnished room has a private bathroom nearby. The room was pretty small but had a wardrobe and a couple of little tables, so enough space to make things comfortable. Just a unique place in a beautiful and worthwhile town. The Verdun Battlefield visit was very moving! ”

“This is a sparse, no nonsense stay. The staff were polite. Could do with a tv that has an option to see/hear Rnhlish, eithet as simply subtitles or conversion to the original language.
I am glad I drove into Verdun, it is a beautiful and a historic place and with a lot of lovely restaurants.”
