Your Perfect Black Hills Adventure Starts at Gold Rush Lodge!

Located in the desirable Gilded Mountain Community near Deadwood, South Dakota, this 4 bedroom cabin offers the perfect space for families of all sizes to enjoy the outdoors. Up to 12 guests can relax comfortably, and enjoy the wonderful views off the wrap around deck. Its tucked in private location, spacious main living area with gas fireplace & beautiful picture windows make it one of our more popular vacation homes.

Main Level Highlights

Open Concept Living Space: Features a fully-equipped kitchen, large dining table that seats 6, breakfast bar with additional seating for 5, and numerous picture windows that make the space bright & open feeling. A den located off the main living room offers another cozy and comfortable area for all the gather. A large TV is mounted above the fireplace. This is a great space for everyone to gather.

Outdoor Living Space: Glass doors lead to a spacious covered deck with breathtaking mountain views, private hot tub and BBQ grill.

■ Primary bedroom #1 with a Queen Bed

■ A bathroom with shower/tub combo.

Open Loft Area: At the top of the wooden staircase is a loft area that the bedroom on this level are located off of.

Second Living Space: At the bottom of the stairs you will find a second living space that features comfortable seating, large wall mounted TV, and a foosball table. This is a great space for the kids to gather!

Very nice large cabin ! It contained everything that you would need ! Very roomy ! Beautiful scenery in the mountains outside of Lead ! Very nice ! Very clean! We had a wonderful time touring the Black Hills !!

Check in an location were great. Cabin location is fantastic. Cabin rooms and decor are lovely. However, the property has not been well maintained. A faulty water heater left us with cold cold showers for 2 of the 4 nights. Deck hose not put up correctly resulted in my 70 year old mother tripping and falling over it the first night. The grill woud not heat appropriately despite having a full tank of propane resulting in ruined meat the first night (maintenance did replace this the next day). The towels all smelled moldy. Upon checking the washer, there was mold in the washer (it appears the maid had been shutting the washer door and closing it up with the moisture in it after washing loads). There were no pans to bake or cook anything in the oven with (maintenance did bring something back the 2nd afternoon for this). The drive was completely washed out with a 10 inch wide and about 14-16 inch deep rut (maintenance did resolve this the 3rd afternoon of our 4 night stay). No batteries in remote in loft and upon buying some realized that the DVD player didnt work in the loft. Bathroom door locks did not work (maintenance did switch one of the bathroomout with a bedroom lock so 1 was resolved that way). The loft for kids had no lighting as bulbs were out. We resolved and got 1 bulb to allow light. Missing outler covers in loft (kids room) and in 1 of the basement bedrooms. Maintenance did get covers for them after checking to see if they were "hot".

We loved the Gold Rush Lodge. It was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. It was located near a lot of fun things to do. Our kiddos enjoyed skiing at Terry Peak and we enjoyed taking old time photos in Deadwood. Awesome location!

This house was perfect! Plenty of room and the perfect location for side-by-side riding in the Hills. The house was well equipped and nicely decorated. We hope to stay there again.

This cabin was perfect for our family getaway. We wanted a place where we could start our day with a relaxing morning breakfast, find daytime activities nearby, and return for an evening meal. We enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub. Communication with the property manager was efficient and check in was easy. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
