The largest cabin at the Ponderosa Pine, and a rare find in the Black Hills: two private bedrooms each with a queen, a full kitchen you can actually cook in, and central heat and AC so you`re comfortable whether you came for powder or for the rally. Spread out in a roomy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and pine-covered hillside views out the picture window. You`re close to Deadwood`s gaming and history and the Terry Peak lifts, with the whole northern Hills at your door. Open all year.

This is the biggest unit on the property, and it lives like a home rather than a room. Two separate bedrooms mean two couples, or a small family, get real privacy instead of sharing one space, and a full kitchen and comfortable living areas give everyone somewhere to land at the end of the day.

The living room is the heart of it: a big sectional with room for the whole group, a flat-screen, and a wood-burning fireplace for cool mountain nights. A wide picture window pulls in the pines and hillside right outside, so you feel like you`re in the Hills even with your feet up inside.

The kitchen is a true full kitchen, not a kitchenette. Gas range, full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and a large counter with plenty of prep room, plus a drip pot and a Keurig for however your group takes its coffee. Around the corner, a dining space seats the family for a home-cooked meal, which is a real money-saver on a longer Black Hills trip.

Both bedrooms are set up for a good night`s sleep, each with its own queen, a ceiling fan, and a TV, so night owls and early risers can split off without stepping on each other. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a clean, updated vanity.

The best part for summer and rally season: central heat and air. A lot of cabins up here have neither, so you get to sleep cool in August and cozy in ski season, any month of the year.

You have the entire apartment to yourselves. It sits on the grounds of the Ponderosa Pine, a mix of cabins and motel rooms, so you get the privacy of your own place with the ease of a managed property around you.

*This is a duplex Cabin in a small park of cabins. You will hear noise from the neighboring guest and you will see other guests while on the property.

*There is no hotel lobby. Hosts live nearby but are not onsite.

*This is Pet friendly with a pet fee of $75.

As professional hosts, we want your stay to be peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing. This is a rustic, no-frills property in a beautiful setting, and we ask all guests to treat it — and others — with respect so everyone can enjoy their time here.

🚭 Smoking & Vaping
Smoking or vaping of any kind is not permitted anywhere except in the designated smoking area on the south side of the property under the covered picnic area.

If smoking occurs inside your unit, you may be charged for professional cleaning and asked to leave the property without a refund.

🐾 Pet Policy
This cabin is pet-friendly with a one-time pet fee of $75. We allow up to 2 dogs/cats as long as they are fully potty trained, will be off the bed and couch, and not left alone unless kenneled.

All pets must be on a leash at all times when outdoors.

Please clean up after your pet.

Excessive barking must be addressed immediately. If barking cannot be controlled, the dog will need to be removed from the property.

Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Please be mindful of other guests and keep voices, music, and TVs low during this time.

🧹 Damages & Cleanliness
Please treat your unit and shared spaces with care.
Guests are financially responsible for any damage, missing items, or excessive messes during their stay. If something breaks or isn’t working, let us know right away so we can help.

No illegal activity or drug use.

No aggressive, disruptive, or disrespectful behavior toward other guests, staff, or animals.

Violating any rule will result in immediate removal from the property with no refund.

⚠️ General Safety
This is a rustic mountain property located just off the highway.

Use caution on uneven ground and outdoor stairs.

Do not leave space heaters, PTAC units, or other electronics running unattended.

You are responsible for your own safety — we are not liable for accidents, injuries, or stolen property during your stay.

Free parking is available near your unit. Please do not block other driveways or guest areas.
