Wanderlust Cabin - With private hot tub!

Guests love the Wonderlust Cabin: "Absolutely incredible cabin! First time in South Dakota and so happy I booked this awesome place. The owners were available at all times if needed, but everything was perfect so we never needed to call on them. Would definitely recommend! Thanks again!"

This cozy cabin on Terry Peak is the perfect size for a family or small group.  Featuring a main floor bedroom and upstairs bunk room, it has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, private hot tub, wood fireplace and a great location for visiting the Black Hills!

The front patio room is a great place to leave your winter or summer gear.  Walk into the main floor welcoming, open layout with full kitchen and dining area (seats 5 at table and 4 at the counter).  Fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffee pot.  The living room features a rock, wood fireplace, flat screen TV with satellite, walk-out to the patio and private hot tub.  Main floor bathroom  has a shower/tub combo.

Upstairs you'll find a great space with an open loft room to the living room.  This room has a twin set of bunks, full bunk with twin on top, flat screen TV with satellite and half bath.

This cabin is located right on the Terry Peak Ski Area - about 1/2 mile from the main lodge.  6 miles west of Deadwood, 20 miles from Sturgis and an hour drive to Mt. Rushmore.  Close to snowmobile trails, Mickelson Trail, ATV trails and 3 miles from Lead.

Comfy little cabin

Loved this little cabin for our family of 4. We would go out sight seeing during the day but it was always nice to be able to come back “home” and relax, make dinner, and enjoy the hot tub. Our only “complaints” if you will, are as that there was a lot of stuff laying around the outside of the cabin that could probably be picked up to make it look cleaner from the outside.

Wanderlust Cabin

Easy check-in process. Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Cozy and easy to cool off when the temps dropped. Loved the hot tub features. The loft was perfect for the kids with bunks! Overall, we had a great time and would stay here again.

Beautiful cabin , a little disappointed it was surrounded by multiple cabins, so if you're looking for an isolated cabin this isn't it. Over all good, enjoyable experience.

Nice clean property

The inside fridge didn't work good and we had to throw out some food, the hot tub kept getting to like 108% during the day when we were gone. Other then those 2 things the place was nice and clean. Process was easy and communication was excellent.

Not the greatest

Very disappointed there was nothing advertised about the cabin NOT having air conditioning prior to us arriving, especially when it was in the upper 90s all week. It was unbearable to be in the cabin during the day. Very nice patio in the back of the house, no patio furniture to be able to utilize the patio. Upon arrival I noticed hair clumps in the shower, dried tooth paste down the front of the bathroom vanity, many small pieces of trash and water bottles between beds and walls, the cobwebs in the window sills were also very noticeable. The location was fun, but that was probably about our only plus for the stay.

Perfect!

This is a great spot for anyone looking to explore the hills. The location is easy to access and within an hour drive to Custer State Park/Wind Cave National Park - Deadwood is also only a short 15 minute drive away with taxis available for pickup/drop off if needed. The check in/check out process was so smooth and the cabin itself was clean, cozy, and perfect for a girls trip for a small group! Would highly recommend this location!!
