I have wanted to stay here for years and we finally made it happen. Wow, Heaven Can Wait Lodge was even more incredible than we thought it would be! There was so much space to spread out and get cozy, the kitchen was packed with anything you might need, and the pool, hot tub, sport court, and play area elevated the entire experience. A great extended-family long weekend getaway enjoyed by all!

This property was everything our family (three generations) had hoped for. The house was clean and well furnished. Every day was spent enjoying each of the many amenities on the property, including swimming, pickleball and basketball, outdoor chess, river, and hot tub, as well as the many spaces for both fun and relaxation inside the house. The kitchen was the best-equipped by far of any rental we’ve ever stayed at. On top of all that our host, Shannon, was helpful and attentive but never intrusive. Everyone had a great time and we’re already talking about returning in the future!

Beautiful home on the river! It was an awesome place for our family gathering! Enjoyed not only the house but the property has a lot to offer with the deck/patio, pool, sport court, walking trail. Spent the weekend and didn't feel the need to leave for more activities. Lots of amenities. If they don't have it in the house, you probably don't need it! Will definitely return!

Lovely and communicative host, gorgeous grounds, and very clean space. Cozy cabin feel with a super kitchen space. We loved the fun personalized mugs and game room. The teens enjoyed having the upper level to themselves. Plenty of kitchenware and serving ware, what a great multi-family experience.

Shannon’s home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was even better than we imagined! There’s everything you could possibly need, the space was immaculate and comfortable and communicating with Shannon was flawless. We had trouble getting to her property due to pass conditions and she was prompt with communicating with us and was extremely accommodating to our family to make sure our stay was nothing short of amazing. We really appreciate Shannon as a host! Thank you for an incredible stay and we look forward to coming back in the future.

The lodge exceed our expectations! It was absolutely stunning and the views were amazing! It was extremely clean even decorated for the holidays! The owner was absolutely wonderful! With unpredictable weather around the time of our stay, she kept us updated and provided an alternative route to get there due to flooding on the pass we were going to be taking. I can’t say enough about how perfect our trip was!Thank you Shannon!

HCW was the perfect place for our group of 11 to stay for a long ski weekend. Close to the trails, spacious enough to accommodate a large group. We cooked most of our meals - the kitchen had everything we needed including two dishwashers and an endless supply of dishes so we never ran out. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplaces inside and out, and the river view. Great communication with the host with recommendations and information about the surrounding areas. Will definitely come back next year.
