We had a great stay at the cabin. Had plenty of room for all of us. The place was big enough for all of us that we could of had our own bed. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub. We definitely would like to go back in the summer and enjoy the pool and the outdoors. Only thing is that the oven could use some TLC. Family time is important it was prefect.

The house was a great size and the location was good. Cons:- the hot tub wasn't working and there was no communication about this from the owner. We paid for a pool and hot tub so it was very disappointing. - the pool was dirty. - the bathroom doors in the main house 1st floor didn't have door knobs on the inside of the door. This was a safety issue with the little kids.

Nothing but praise for our stay! The owner is very easy to contact and patient with questions. The lodge was very well stocked with amenities: kid equipment, towels, dishes, silverware and glasses, blankets, kitchen supplies. Our sons are all foodies and found any pans they needed for food prep. The only thing you might want to bring is toys for little peeps. Great place to make memories!

Relaxing stay

Our stay followed our son’s wedding in Seattle. It was relaxing for the family - we loved the pool and hot tub, made great meals, played games, hiked, and enjoyed the serenity of the place.Truly exceeded expectations. We will be back!

Lovely property, lots to do

We had a wonderful time at the Dirtyface lodge. Lots of fun things to do in the area, and plenty of space to spread out with our group. We enjoyed the pool area, too.

The Perfect Family Getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The pool was a hit with the kids; the kitchen was well stocked, & there were plenty of beds & baths. Private location close to the lake & river was a bonus too.

Successful Company Retreat

We hosted our annual summer retreat for our company at this location. There was plenty of space and the pool was lovely. A very well-furnished kitchen had all of the equipment we needed and was well stocked on spices and other cooking staples. Communication with the host was easy and she was flexible when we needed to reschedule (thank you, Margaret!). The check-out process was super easy. I would happily stay here again.

50th anniversary getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Dirty Face Lodge with our extended family of 11. There were more rooms than we could use (10)! While there was plenty of room to spread out, it was also nice to have a common area for us all to come together and celebrate in the main lodge with the living room and dining room open to each other. Margaret was a wonderful host and responded to our needs promptly during our stay.

Close to wedding venue

My son’s wedding was at Browns Family Homestead just a quick trip down the road. The access was super easy. Dirty Face Lodge is large and welcoming so people could stop by and visit with plenty of room. The friend doing flowers and the photographer stayed in the bunk house as we had plenty of bedrooms. I only wish we had not been so busy with the wedding that we could have enjoyed it more.

Such a GREAT place for a large group. One of the best areas of Washington.

We did our 2nd annual Dads, Son's, and Friends weekend. And have already booked for next year. Such a beautiful area. So much to do, Mother Nature at her best. Wenatchee River rafting, Golfing, Fishing, Leavenworth, Wineries, Grand Coulee Dam, hiking. Wintertime would include skiing, snowmobiling, Tubing.

Cozy house for a nice getaway

Property is about 25 minutes outside of Leavenworth. Close enough to head into town if you want but also tucked away in the beautiful mountains so it feels like you are at your own little retreat. Houses were clean and very spacious. The baseboards in the bottom bedrooms did not work very well, so we had the fireplaces going all day and night, with fans directing the warm air toward the bedrooms. The well water had a really pungent smell to it, so it was off putting to some of our family we had with us. The upstairs is very creaky when walking around and we all found the beds to be very hard and uncomfortable. Not enough to deter us from returning, just maybe bring a foam topper or something. Overall, it was an amazing house and we would definitely recommend it to everyone. Just a few things that we wished were different for the price being paid.

Wonderful stay

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dirty Mountain! We loved the living room and kitchen/dining area where we spent so much time playing games and fixing meals. Such a nice touch to put up a Christmas tree. The bedrooms were lovely and accommodated our family. The hot tub was a very special treat as well. We would love to have the opportunity to stay there again. Thank you to Margaret for being so responsive when there was a little issue with a bathroom door. She responded quickly to correct the issue. So appreciate her communication!

DFL experience

Great mountain location not too far from Leavenworth. Plenty of space for family. Main house decorated cute for holidays:) Could have been a but cleaner ( bathroom’s & bed linens clean) Floors , refrigerator, couches still had remanence of past visitors :/ no sound to TV in main house & bedrooms on main floor did not have working heating. Even with that said, it was still a pleasant stay for us all:) we will return again.

Cozy Retreat

Very fortunate to of found a cabin to fit us all… Not to far out of Leavenworth, and a very lovely area. We felt well taken care of, and appreciated that they kept the driveway clear of snow. The hot tub, was nice and toasty… and in a beautiful setting. Also, They have every amenity, that you could ever need. We appreciated every detail. Thank you, for helping us feel at home.
