Hotel vicino a Legion Park - Marion

“Stayed here recently and had a decent overall experience. The hotel was clean, which is always a top priority for me, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the common areas were generally well-kept. That said, the property is clearly showing its age. The rooms and facilities could really use some updates; things like worn furniture, dated decor, and minor maintenance issues (loose fixtures, weak water pressure, older appliances) stood out....

“Breakfast was not very good. Runny scrambled eggs, bacon not crisp, biscuit with sausage not appetizing, frozen Belgium waffles tough and hard.”

“Breakfast was good-they had a mini waffle maker! I have never seen one of those in a hotel before! We made waffles everyday! The pool was nice-small but that was good for us. The staff were awesome-very helpful and friendly and patient with my grandma! ”

“Context, (im in crutches, use motel 6 frequently, rarely ever have problems).. Entrance and hallways smelt of fried fish, the bedroom floor was not swept, the bathroom floor was slightly flooded and when we requested for it to be cleaned, they couldnt clean it, so we requested extra towels and the worker stated he couldn't give us extra towels. He offered a room upstairs, I can not walk upstairs. So we left. Would've been nice to get a refund being that we stayed a max of 35 minutes. The...

“Go anywhere else! Many better options! My partner and I road our bicycles 35 miles to come to Cedar Rapids and see a favorite band. When we tried to take our bikes to our room, the clerk yelled at us and said that we had to leave. Then, he charged me for the room. He would not work with us to provide any other place to secure the bikes and told us to go. Very rude and hostile towards bicycles and cyclists alike! Oh, and this place is a dump! Old and gross! ”

“There was a really bad smell, I’m assuming the carpet throughout the entire building. The towels were really dingy & dirty looking & I guess they were supposed to bed clean. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I won’t ever go back.”

“When I checked in for 2 rooms I made sure that pets were only allowed on the first floor. We were on the third floor and a dog barked and growled all night on our floor. There was also an overwhelming constant smell of pot throughout the hotel. We will not be staying there again.”

“The management was very friendly. The rates were extremely exorbitant for what the quality of the property had. The breakfast was absolutely terrible dried fried egg, one day and gravy and biscuits the next day. Of course they had cereal and sometime an apple. The cleaning of the rooms were adequate, but not exceptional. One thing to be very cautious of is the property is two stories and has no elevator. Outside lighting is somewhat poor as some of the lights are burned out. Rooms are cleaned...

“Rooms are not how they look in pictures, full of mold and they smell like cigarettes and pee. Towels are dirty! Bed stinks and uncomfortable! Longest week I’ve had staying here! DO NOT STAY HERE unless it’s your last resort!!!”
