“Standards have fallen at the Westleton Crown. Outside, several car park bays were inexplicably cordoned off so there was a shortage of available spaces. Inside there was a bucket catching a leak from a skylight in the main dining room. The corridor, staircase and bedroom carpets are dirty and worn. The seat in our WC fell off. Overall, the decor is old, tired and in urgent need of an uplift. We will certainly think carefully before booking the Crown again anytime soon, and we will certainly not...

“The whole accommodation is excellent plenty of parking, good size rooms, a wonderful buffet breakfast and only 5 minutes walk to an excellent pub/restaurant.”

“We had a fantastic few days away at the wentworth. Our room was over the road in villa/annex, very quiet large room with a lovely large bathroom and shower. Lovely little courtyard garden. The breakfast was very good. We a one meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Overall our stay was excellent and would we will definitely return. Would highly recommend”

We did mention that the sink plug stuck but it was still the same when we left. Breakfast was also excellent and could not fault the full English for quality and cooking. Only minuses are traffic noise - which is beyond the hotel’s control - but they are single glazed sash windows which we had opened because of the hot...

“Ideal for what I needed, arriving in the dark was tricky as there was no light over the access door. Good value for money”
