“The Yankee Inn was a convenient and affordable option for our visit to Tanglewood. The check-in staff was friendly and advised us of breakfast and checkout hours. The room was clean and thankfully well air conditioned during our stay there in 90 degree weather! The included breakfast was typical fare: eggs, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, bread/pastries, etc. As we were there for only one night, we did not take advantage of the outdoor pool or fire pit, but both appeared to be clean and well...

“The hotel is easy to find. It is clean, neat, and tidy. We checked in early - great! My one concern is the 800 grit sandpaper for toilet paper. Motel 6 uses better toilet paper. Unfortunately, the bean counters won. They have a great price on toilet paper, and the property suffers as a result. Everyone and everything was great. The toilet paper was from the 1950's - honest. Sorry to have to report this. Hopefully, this will get someon's attention.”

“Honestly, this place should close for renovations. It's a mess. • 1 working elevator for a 12-floor hotel. The elevator is used by staff (and their equipment) and guests. Elevator wait times were 10+ minutes. Watched a delivery guy? guest? employee? get on the elevator with a large e-bike. “Room smelled awful and the blanket was so dated. We ended up driving home 1 1/2 hours rather than stay the night. Very sleazy.”

“This has been a long time stop for us. It has always been a perfect location. The hotel is right at the base of Monument Mountain and it is truly breathtaking to see it out your window.”
