“This is a no frills hotel. With that in mind, the kitchenette was wonderful, with a full size refrigerator and great ice maker. However, there is not a table with chairs to eat on. “This was our third stay at the Heathman Lodge. Our first two stays were wonderful, so when in need of a hotel in the Vancouver WA area we immediately booked the Heathman. Check-In was great, they even gave us a bottle of wine! But the next day we were away from our room most of the day and returned at night. There was no maid service! All our towels were used and left on floor where we had left them, trash wasn't emptied and bed wasn't made. I tried to call to the front desk, but room phone...

“The hospitality of this hotel is second to none. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful.
If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality.”
