“We had a room with kitchenette at the corner of the building with a door straight from the outside into the room. It had a huge fridge/freezer, a sofa, an armchair and a large window which could be opened. Easy to maintain a good air quality with a low CO2 rating. We stayed with two small dogs and felt very welcome. It is the first motel in a very long list of motels which does not charge per dog per night. Dogs stay free. “The outside of the hotel needs some maintenance. The hotel sign light is burnt out (giving a horror movie feel). The planters outside are empty and falling over. That being said, the room was clean and housekeeping did a very good job. We stayed for 3 nights. Everything was very quiet (other than a bit of noisy highway traffic) There is a very big bump turning into the property. Nice big parking stalls outside of the hotel though, so that was nice. “Maybe I'm not picky, but I thought the accommodation was just fine and at a good price, for me and my two sons. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, who were a life saver to let me use a phone charger, that I forgot. The lady who made and oversaw the Continental Breakfast was a very friendly sweetheart. Would definitely stay there again.”

“Not too much to choose from in the small town of Fort MacLeod. Red Coat Inn certainly seemed the better of choices. A bit dated and a tad rundown it was clean and convenient. Office were helpful and on-site parking was free. The Fort is well worth a visit.”
